“Met Police can go to hell.” Palestine Action and its supporters have sent a clear message: they have nothing but contempt for Metropolitan Police frontline officers. When a group of extremists takes to the streets to defend a soon-to-be proscribed terrorist group and protest against those who risk their lives to keep our streets safe, it is a frighteningly clear indication that something has gone very wrong in this country. The authorities have a lot to answer for. This ban on Palestine Action — as called for by CAA and others — is a good start, but it should have happened a long time ago, as should bans on these kinds of protests. This must be the start of a clampdown on lawlessness and extremism if it is to be of any consequence.

If Andy Burnham genuinely represents change, I assume he’ll want to reverse the draconian proscription of Palestine Action. It’s a moral outrage that anyone should be labeled a “terrorist” for trying to prevent war crimes and uphold international law.

Spoke to some of my old friends in Mumbai. They said everyone is surprised and happy by the action against illegal encroachment at Bandra station. Most people believed it would never be removed. But the work was completed peacefully and without much noise, apart from some minor stone-pelting. Now, this should become an example for the entire country. The PM or HM alone cannot take responsibility for everything. The message has already been given from the Red Fort speech and during the Bengal elections. Delhi Haryana, Rajasthan MP Gujarat.. Every BJP-ruled state should learn from the Bandra action and work against illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas. Now or never. There cannot be a bigger motivation than this. RT if you agree.

TODAY, I am leaving the mining town of Phalaborwa after a WEEK of serious work. This is a small town in Limpopo Province but folks here live LARGE… BIG CARS are everywhere, the latest models. Phalaborwa is like Dorowa in Zimbabwe… The economy here is anchored by Foskor Mine, a Phosphate mine. Phosphate has several uses, key among them is the manufacture of fertilisers. As much as mining companies pay taxes, I think the best way they can boost the local economy is through providing jobs to locals and paying GOOD SALARIES. We should never tolerate Slave Wages for mine workers, and people living in the area should be prioritised…. That model is doing great in most mining communities in South Africa. Well, my job here is done, I came, I saw, and I learnt….. also made friends

This has got to be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen coming from Harvard. More than 30 Harvard University student organizations are holding Israel “entirely responsible” for the Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel: Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine "We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence. Today's events did not occur in a vacuum. For the last two decades, millions of Palestinians in Gaza have been forced to live in an open-air prison. Israeli officials promise to "open the gates of hell," and the massacres in Gaza have already commenced. Palestinians in Gaza have no shelters for refuge and nowhere to escape. In the coming days, Palestinians will be forced to bear the full brunt of Israel's violence. The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years. From systematized land seizures to routine airstrikes, arbitrary detentions to military checkpoints, and enforced family separations to targeted killings, Palestinians have been forced to live in a state of death, both slow and sudden. Today, the Palestinian ordeal enters into uncharted territory. The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation. The same financial institutions that are funding new fossil fuel projects in the UK are also funding the manufacture of weapons used to repress the Palestinian people and indiscriminately bomb the men, women and children trying to survive in the Gaza strip. ⚖️ This government is engaged in a wholesale assault on human rights here and around the world — migrants’ rights, workers’ rights, protest rights — nothing is sacred. Anyone speaking up about the injustices wrought on Palestinians or calling out the corruption and criminality of the UK Government risks arrest. Ordinary people must step up to resist imperialism and authoritarianism and must demand no new fossil fuels if we are to minimise the effects of climate collapse. 🇵🇸 JUST STOP OIL MARCH IN SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE 🦺 Today, Just Stop Oil supporters marched in solidarity with people affected by the Government’s anti-democratic assault on our legitimate right to protest, joining the march and rally for Palestine organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign. The event commemorates the 75th anniversary of the Nakba (Arabic for Catastrophe), when over 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly removed from over 500 villages and cities in historic Palestine, never to return. The Nakba continues today — from Jerusalem to Gaza, Israel continues its policy of human rights abuses, displacing and oppressing the indigenous Palestinian population.
