In the original script, the "candy bar" scene where Johnny catches Ginny eating in the laundry room, it was more aggressive, with both increasing their yelling up until John says he loves her. The script didn't change but the director had them take a softer approach in the end.

And a great call. This was the closest he got to ever being upset with Ginny and I don’t think he should’ve got any angrier. John was different for a wise guy and I loved his restraint and devotion for her.

I loved this scene, and the way he treats her and is proud of her.

Sopranos is the only show I noticed that wrote mean physical characteristics into the script. Their physical appearances where ridiculed on the page. Happened a lot
