Is this scene, from the movie Django Unchained, the reason that Israeli IDF terrorist Elkana Federman called his dog, who "took care of some Nukhbas in Sde Teiman", by the name Django?

In Django Unchained (2012), during the LeQuint Dickey scene, when the camera locks on Stephen, he completely stops blinking. He is staring straight into Django’s eyes and the audience’s for the entire moment.

In Django Unchained (2012), when the camera locks onto Stephen during the LeQuint Dickey scene, he doesn’t blink once. He stares straight into Django’s eyes and straight through the audience, making the moment even more unnerving.

Django whipping Big Daddy in DJANGO UNCHAINED (2012) while wearing that unforgettable blue suit is one of Tarantino’s most triumphant reversals. The film spends so long building toward that moment that every crack of the whip feels completely earned.

Quentin Tarantino revealed he "could not wait" to see ‘Prometheus’ while filming Django Unchained (2012) because "it was Ridley dealing with Alien again." "I could not wait to see Prometheus. I couldn't wait." "We were shooting in New Orleans, doing Django Unchained, and the entire crew went out to a New Orleans theater to see it... We just took over the theater in masses."

It doesn’t sit right with me that Philip Seymour Hoffman didn’t win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for The Master. Christoph Waltz was flawless in Django, but his performance in Django is cut from a similar cloth as Inglourious Basterds- and not as good. PSH in The Master is a once-in-a-lifetime performance. He should’ve won the Oscar for that exact reason.

In Django Unchained (2012), Leonardo DiCaprio accidentally cut his hand after smashing a glass during Calvin Candie’s scene. He kept acting, used the pain to make the moment even darker, and Tarantino liked the take so much that he kept it in the film.

Samuel L. Jackson designed the look of Stephen in Django Unchained (2012). He demanded the character have shaky hands and jaundiced eyes to physically manifest the internal rot of a man who turned against his own people for power.
