NEWS: Tesla has just taken delivery of a very big and heavy package at their new semi truck production facility in Nevada. It appears like it could be a stamping press for the Tesla Semi. It took two semi trucks and a triple trailer to move it. Tesla Semi production is expected to start in the coming months.

🚛⚡ Just got back from the Tesla Megacharger in Ontario, CA — the first one open to external Semi fleet customers! Walked the whole site, got up close with those massive liquid-cooled cables and heavy-duty stalls, and explored the entire setup. The engineering is seriously impressive. Charging specs here: This site delivers up to 750 kW per stall (full Megachargers can hit 1.2 MW). At peak power, the Tesla Semi can recover up to ~60% of its ~500-mile range — that’s roughly 300+ miles of range in about 30 minutes during a driver break. Even at 750 kW it’s a huge leap for trucking efficiency. What still shocked me: dozens of traditional diesel semis just sitting there idling for who knows how long, engines running, burning fuel and spewing exhaust right next to the electric future. The Tesla Semi is going to be a total game changer — zero emissions, drastically lower operating costs (no diesel, minimal maintenance), instant torque, and megawatt-class charging that keeps trucks moving with almost no downtime. Jay Leno: "Ford canceled their F-150 Lightning" Dan Priestley, Head of the Tesla Semi Program: "Yeah, I'm hopeful that they're making new investments into a new platform that will allow them to go to electric and scale profitably, because we want more players in the space. Whether that's on the light duty side or on the heavy duty side, we can't do this alone. We really need everybody all in." This always been Tesla’s mentality. More great EVs, the better. Love to see this. 👏🏼

Just did a quick walk-through of the brand-new station at 4265 E Guasti Road — the very first one open to Semi fleet customers (not just Tesla’s own trucks). 750 kW charging right at a truck stop in the heart of the Inland Empire. Electric long-haul trucking just got real. Who else is hyped for the Semi network rollout? Drop a 🔥 if you’ve seen a Semi here! Quick facts: • Why it’s historic: Tesla’s third Megacharger ever, but the first one explicitly opened for customer Semis (the other two at Giga Nevada and Carson, CA were mainly for Tesla’s internal fleet). Opened early March 2026. • Power & stalls: Two 750 kW stalls (powered by V3.5 cabinets — same tech as V3+ Superchargers). Full Megachargers can hit 1.2 MW, but this starter public one is limited to 750 kW for now. Still plenty fast — expect a strong top-up during the mandatory 30–45 min driver break (1.2 MW demos hit ~60 % range in ~30 min; this one is a bit slower but very usable). • Location perks: Perfectly placed at a Travel Center in the Inland Empire, right by the I-10/I-15 interchange — prime spot for freight from LA/Long Beach ports to distribution hubs. • Bigger picture: First of 64+ planned public Megachargers across the U.S. (37+ by end of 2026, many at Pilot/Flying J stops). The redesigned Tesla Semi now uses the updated MCS (Megawatt Charging System) charge port. This 1.2 MW (1,200 kW) port is used across North America, and also Europe for class 6-8 electric commercial vehicles. MCS is essentially the heavy-duty truck equivalent of NACS.
