India can't manufacture even a Lithium battery, every local shop has just Chinese goods from large electronic items, appliances to toys, school bags, footwear,crockery or any gifts. In the evening of Day 3 of the Startup Mahakumbh I got the opportunity to address the Startup India team and the Organising Committee of the Startup Mahakumbh in the presence of Mr. Piyush Goyal HCIM, Mr. Amardeep Bhatia Secy DPIIT and Sanjivji JS DPIIT. Each such story is a testament to India's growing AI ecosystem. There are hundreds of stalls displaying futuristic tech being developed in India. From ground zero, I covered the innovations shaping India's AI future. BharatGen AI: Building foundational models in all 22 official Indian languages. ParadigmIT's Sovereign AI Box: Strengthening data security and aligning with the IndiaAI Mission. Skye Air Mobility: 3.6 million autonomous deliveries and 1,000+ tonnes of CO₂ saved. I brought forward stories that matter: Tarakram Maram's AI Trainer Machine, democratizing AI education. Frontier Markets which is empowering rural women entrepreneurs through AI. Drublet Innovation Private Limited, Founded by two students, Agniva and Aaditya, pushing the boundaries of autonomous navigation and robotics. I also explored state pavilions like Bihar's, interacted with international delegations, and highlighted how startups across India are solving real, local challenges with AI. As a journalist on the ground, my focus was simple: bringing the stories of innovation, impact, and aspiration to the viewers. The AI Summit also displays various budding innovations from startups like Sarvam to presence of Indian tech giants like HCL, Airtel, Tata. Top names in the field of AI from across the world like an NVIDIA, Google, OpenAI and many more have also lined up to participate in the Summit. One story about Galgotia University which seemed to go wrong is just an isolated droplet of an otherwise vast reservoir of innovation and future ready technology. The bionic details on this machine are incredible, especially those lifelike hooves. It looks like a living creature rather than just another quadruped robot. All this is happening due to Skey Air, a delivery solution provider, which has deployed drones to carry packages from its warehouse to the delivery point. "Earlier the delivery time of items like clothing, was 24 to 36 hours. Ever since they have ventured into delivery of food items, we get them in 1-1.30 hours. Sometimes even in 15 minutes. When we asked the delivery person about this, he said that now the delivery is being done via drones. This grew our excitement and we too wanted to see how drone delivery takes place," says Parminder Purohit, a local resident.

This woman ordered some pizza and asked for no contact delivery. The pizza delivery guy did just as she asked, only thing is he left the hot bag as well. So she had to call them and let the know, the manager in the phone seemed to already know who did it. I get contactless delivery for your non food items but why would anyone get it for hot food. I don’t like the idea of my food sitting on the floor like that, is it a sensory or anxiety thing?

So many robotics companies trying to solve everything at once… Last year I talked to Nima Gard, Director of AI at Path Robotics about this… Doing one thing really really well. They went after welding. Today they’re introducing Rove™, which embodies Obsidian™ (Path's physical AI model for manufacturing) on a legged mobile platform. The result is the intelligence to autonomously weld with the mobility to bring the worker to the work. Path Robotics (Columbus, Ohio) has raised more than $300 million in venture capital to build autonomous AI-powered welding cells. I think the tech is pretty impressive and video really cool. My question to the Honourable Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda Ministry of Health is, "Sir, how did FSSAI allow this?". Impact After Term | 12 : iTNT Hub — Laying the Foundation for Tamil Nadu's Deep Tech Ecosystem (Part 1) As global technology leadership increasingly shifts towards Artificial Intelligence and other Deep Tech sectors, Tamil Nadu recognised the need to move beyond traditional IT services and build an innovation ecosystem capable of transforming research, talent and technology into globally competitive enterprises. Recognising this opportunity and the immense potential of Tamil Nadu's highly skilled youth, Dr. Dr P Thiaga Rajan (PTR), as Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management, announced the establishment of the i-Tamil Nadu Technology (iTNT) Hub in the 2022–23 Budget with an allocation of ₹54.61 crore. The objective was to create a dedicated institutional platform that could accelerate Deep Tech innovation and entrepreneurship in the State. Launched by Hon'ble Chief Minister Thiru M.K.Stalin on 15 May 2023, iTNT Hub was established as India's first dedicated innovation platform focused on Deep Tech and Emerging Technologies. Through initiatives such as BEACON, PATHFINDER, iAccelerate and the JIGSAW innovation framework, the Hub brought together government, academia, industry, investors and startups while providing access to advanced infrastructure including Fab Labs, 3D Printing facilities, Industry 4.0 tools and specialised technology resources. In doing so, it helped connect research, industry and capital, enabling ideas to evolve into scalable products and enterprises. The impact has been substantial. iTNT Hub has supported more than 2,800 startups, connected nearly 7,000 researchers, facilitated partnerships with over 200 institutions, established collaborations with more than 80 incubation centres—including 20 international partnerships—and enabled over 10,000 entrepreneurs to benefit from its ecosystem. Beyond supporting startups, iTNT Hub has helped create the foundations of a statewide Deep Tech ecosystem.
