Every indiegamedev should watch this each morning when they start 🥰

he's actually a good guy to tbh. i watch his streams a lot a night.. funny stream if you get a chance to watch.

I don’t know anyone could think he wasn’t!

The games 👇👇 Cakez77 game called Tangy TD on Steam

Mixed emotions about stories like this. On one hand, great, someone worked hard and found success. But I don't like the idea that we have to whore ourselves out, expose ourselves and the people in our lives to be humanized and warrant success. This sets a dangerous precident, our humanity can be marketed above the value of our games. It's of paramount importance that we reward hard work, not the appearance of hard work or the theatrics of success and emotional appeals. I hate the idea that people would just put on displays of emotion to make money off this medium. I'm not saying this isn't genuine, but it incentivizes people to put emotional appeal over the acual work.

@DeveloperPerso3 The sales came without the video being shared.

The first video yeah? But this video is following the explosion of sales after the first viral video. Maybe i'm just jaded, I dunno. Anyhow, I better get back to work on my project, wasting too much damn time on the TWATTERS

@DeveloperPerso3 When it comes To the sale, there’s no second chances 🫠

Tell that to No Man's Sky!

gg to this guy, much respect, i am happy for him. those look like good numbers, but in reality he'll clear 90-100k after steam cut and taxes. didn't it take him 4-5 years? hopefully he sells at least twice as many copies.

Ya with this viral marketing about his response, they should easily net 10x imho

@BitByteBytes

@grok I watched it twice to be sure but maybe I missed it.
