Infantry's dream on the front line is the ability to destroy an enemy strongpoint with a single hit. Only if previously this required sending an assault trooper to throw a TM-62 mine by hand, now there's an alternative for this. You can try to destroy a strongpoint with lighter...

🛬Let's talk about heavy FPV drones again and about the reasons for their relevance on the frontlines Even a small stronghold is often more resilient than it might seem. To destroy such an object, you need to use numerous conventional FPV drones, or even send an attack aircraft to drop a TM-62 mine. But now the chances of destroying a stronghold with a single drone hit have increased significantly thanks to the gradual emergence of heavy drones capable of carrying a much larger payload. One such drone is the Upyr-18. Some Upyr-18s have been modified to drop ammunition. This makes them reusable, but it also significantly reduces the power of the munition carried—it still needs to fly back. A ton of Upyr-18-type drones are incomparably more relevant today than a single BMD-4M or similar aircraft. So the question is about rational redistribution of resources.

Ukrainian heavy drones, which perform various tasks (as a relay, for logistics, mining and destruction), have become an integral part of Ukrainian defense. It is extremely difficult to imagine the battlefield through the eyes of a UA military without this class of drones. For years together with my fighters we have been preparing for the fact that the enemy is about to scale this direction and a similar class of drones will appear in their hands. For the first time I met them during the Kursk operation. But what was my surprise that Russians after 5 years of war have not yet tested these drones and launched them into series. But it will be changed. Undoubtedly, the appearance and scaling of certain drones on both sides is due to the conditions in which they work (for example, Russian INs are not even close to Ukrainian ones), but it is difficult to find arguments for abandoning this class of drones. And Russians are not abandoning them. But they see a significantly smaller role in them than in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian plans include the creation of UAV battalions (which are significantly smaller in number of personal than Ukrainian ones) as part of regiments and brigades, where each battalion will have 4 crews of heavy drones. And Russian newly formed SBS forces according to plans should receive two companies of heavy bombers. And I only hope that this should not be a surprise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine as it was in the case with the completely symmetrical and non-innovative actions from «Rubicon». UA FPV drone destroyes former UA Vampire drone that became a trophy for Russians and was used by them.

For the first time, our new economic policy program "Made in Ukraine" was discussed at a regional meeting in Sumy. This year, there are significant financial resources available for all regions of our state, including the Sumy region, which is guaranteed. As a result of today's meetings, government officials, the State Property Fund, the President's Office, and regional authorities now have very specific tasks. Contracts for our defense industrial complex have been signed. I am proud that every month, more and more companies and developers offer specific samples of weapons, shells, equipment, demining vehicles, and many other things—everything that is required at the front and that, thanks to the power of technology, will save the lives of our people. Today, there are new contracts for automated fire driving systems, new FPV drones with appropriate dropping capabilities, and mobile fire group training—all of which will help to effectively shoot down the "Shaheds." All that is required.

Drones with range of 60km With 60km fiber optic tubes, the life of artillery has become even more complicated. This doesn't eliminate this equipment, but it practically limits its use to long-range self-propelled guns (SPGs) with much more prudence and, effectively sealing the fate of towed artillery. The short-range drone operators should also be affected, as drones with longer reach will now be able to scout behind combat lines, including structures.

ZELENSKYY: There is an active army reform underway, and among other things, Ukrainian infantry will receive more payment, more drones, and more NRKs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles - UGVs). “The second aspect of the reform is new special conditions for our infantry. Everything rests on the shoulders of the infantrymen. Where our Ukrainian infantry is, there are our Ukrainian positions. Of course, now there is such a war that it is impossible without drones. Creation of a kill zone, a line of drones. Most of the damage to the enemy and Russian equipment was caused by drones. We will increase all types of supply and use of drones, including Middle Strikes, including NRK (Unmanned Ground Vehicle - UGV). But our positions depend on our infantrymen” - Ukrainian President on Fri, May 1st.

Losses of expensive equipment for the IDF are becoming routine. In the Shomera area, a Hezbollah FPV drone struck at least the third Iron Dome air defense system launcher in a month. The video was filmed on May 18, but published today. Based on the footage, the drone hit the containers with air defense missiles directly again: if they're not empty, this usually leads to detonation and destruction. Notably, all the launchers struck by Hezbollah were deployed near the Lebanese border. The IDF is trying to protect border settlements this way: with air defense positioned further away, it simply doesn't have time to react to a launch. 🖍Overall, this is another illustration of how, amid the "drone revolution," traditional air defense systems increasingly turn from hunter into prey. Moreover, Hezbollah uses the most ordinary FPV drones without Starlink and auto-guidance modules. ❗️For now, the IDF appears to be at the very beginning of realizing that the realities have changed, and an entire Iron Dome battery can be destroyed by drones for a thousand dollars. In time, this will sink in, and the launchers will acquire protective measures. The question is how many more Israeli air defense systems Hezbollah will be able to strike by then.

I thank each of our combat brigades, all soldiers, and commanders who are using all their strength to destroy the enemy, especially by effectively deploying our drone capabilities. Our Ukrainian Defense and Security Forces are already gaining an advantage in this area – in July, our soldiers deployed more drones than the occupiers. This needs to be a steady trend on the front – across all types of drones available to our units: from FPV to all others, including our long-range drones – which are already having a strategic impact on the war. Impacting – in the interests of Ukraine. And our Ukrainian leadership in drones can not only be a factor that brings a just end to the war closer but also makes Ukraine a supplier of security for other states. Today, Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technologies, and Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine, also reported at the Staff meeting on drone production and financing. For this year, a million drones have already been contracted with our manufacturers, and by the end of the year, there will be more. Our drone production capabilities are consistently expanding. We're working not only with state funding but also with partners who are investing in our drone manufacturing. These drones are crucial for our defense now and will later enhance security for everyone who values life and stands with us in solidarity.

🇸🇾 President Assad: "The brilliance of the West is they gave us slogans, and a large part of the world believed them. 'Freedom' is a beautiful term, but it can be the freedom of a person to kill others, the freedom to destroy... the same thing with democracy. This beautiful term can have an ugly content. For them, democracy is only one freedom: to accept the modern liberal concepts they want to impose on you. This is their democracy - for you to accept what they want. Democracy is to be a slave to them, and you will be labeled a democrat."

General Syrskyi: At present, we're making virtually no use of armoured vehicles. Our military personnel, just like enemy, effectively advancing on foot, as in World War I. In order to reach front line for offensive operations, infantryman sometimes has to march 10-15 km on foot. This raises the question: how can we neutralise this advantage enjoyed by drones and give our armour a new lease of life? The answer lies in developing active defence systems that will shoot down drones themselves and complement the existing system, where drones are used to shoot down other drones. Then all conventional types of weaponry — tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery — will be given a new lease of life and will once again be deployed extensively. But these will no longer be tanks or infantry fighting vehicles in the conventional sense, but highly sophisticated systems capable of countering various threats posed by drones.

What. Copilot Tasks is already on mobile. So you basically have a cloud computer/Claude Cowork working for you on the go. Same features as on desktop. With one prompt it can: - Use a browser to navigate - Interact with the page - Scrap the relevant info - Generate an Excel file And it still has access to all the Office tools, emails, ability to schedule tasks, etc.

⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺There is now confirmation of the first attempts to blind Russian FPV drones by installing small IR spotlights on Ukrainian drones, producing a bright, directional beam aimed at the incoming drone’s camera. In one case, a Ukrainian UGV tried to blind an approaching Russian FPV drone but failed. The second example was more successful a “Baba Yaga” drone was able to confuse the operator of an anti-drone interceptor that was attempting to shoot it down. For now, this cannot be called widespread, but in the future such a blinding system may become an effective method of countering FPV drones, especially fiber-optic-guided ones, which cannot be jammed by electronic warfare at all. And, as can be seen, the system can be installed on both ground and aerial platforms. So it turns out the outdated Passive Protection Systems (PPS) like the Shtora-1 so common in the late Soviet/Russian/Ukranian like the T-90A are state of the art now.

🐈🇺🇦Small but important campaign to provide net launchers to the 79th Brigade of Ukraine. $2300 required for 3 launchers and 60 nets: PayPal: marshaln111@gmail.com Drones with dropable munitions have become a serious danger on the modern battlefield. They are inexpensive, easy to deploy, and posing a constant threat to soldiers and civilians alike. Still the best means to counter this threat is to physicly destroy or intercept a drone. One of such tools which can be effectivly used are net launchers. These systems can neutralize enemy drones mid-flight, preventing them from causing destruction. We are raising funds to fulfil the request if the Ukraine’s 79th Assault Brigade to equip them with net launcher systems to protect soldiers and save lives. For begging we aim to provide 3 net launching systems and 60 nets from the Ukrainian manufacturer “Ptashka Systems” ( These are relatively inexpensive systems, for all this we need only $2,300. The manufacturer is ready to quickly send the ordered equipment and within a few days after payment the systems will be able to go to the front. Every contribution makes a difference in this fight against one of the most dangerous threats on the battlefield. Donate now to help us protect those who protect us. Together, we can ensure their safety and stop the drones.

Footage appears to show a Ukrainian soldier preparing a fragmentation munition designed to be carried by an FPV drone. Instead of relying only on the explosive charge, the design uses fragmentation material intended to spread around the point of detonation. The footage highlights how Ukraine is adapting relatively simple manufacturing methods to battlefield requirements. FPV drones are already low-cost and highly flexible platforms, and their payloads can be modified for different battlefield roles. This is another example of how drone warfare is evolving. The competition is no longer just about building better drones — it is also about developing cheaper, more adaptable and more effective payloads for them. #russia #ukraine #fpvdrone #fpv #drones #DroneStrike

I've tried to explain what "mass" and the "cost differential" are many times. This video will show you. This is a Russian surveillance drone feed. Every single black dot on that road is a Ukrainian FPV drone waiting for a target – 100+ can be seen. Somewhere in the area is a small team of pilots who can plug in and activate each UAV. Mass: Imagine that a T-14 Armata tank column approaches. The tanks have been greatly upgraded to avoid and/or survive drone strikes – it's not as easy as strapping on an RPG warhead anymore. You need to hit that tank over and over and over again, and that's just with the UAVs that make it through the electronic and ballistic defenses. Bottom line, you might expend 20-50 drones to kill one piece of armor. Cost Differential: 20-50 drones to kill one tank now? You might jump to the conclusion that the small FPV drones are becoming obsolete. Not so fast. A T-14 costs between $7 and $9 million. Each drone sitting there on the dirt road costs about $1000. If it takes 50 drones to destroy a T-14, that's $50k to kill a $9m target AND its crew. I'll take that deal all day every day.

🇷🇺🔥"The current attack of the Russian army against Ukraine resembles a prolonged slaughter, which in terms of destruction and losses can be compared to the Battle of Stalingrad. There is no talk of any breakthrough; the situation is simply at a dead end," said Oleg Pakholkov, a former deputy of the Russian Duma (2011-2016), who visited the combat zone in Ukraine and shared his impressions with the Russian public. ▪️ Pakholkov associates the failure of the Russian army with Ukraine's use of an incredible number of drones, with which they control a combat zone about 20 kilometers from the front line. The number of drones recorded at the front is already such that 5-6 drones may be allocated to destroy one soldier. ▪️ According to the deputy, under the current circumstances, the Russian army is unable to carry out not only a strategic but even an operational breakthrough at the front. Even if our infantry manages to break through somewhere, it is impossible to establish a bridgehead and bring armored vehicles there to strengthen positions, because Ukrainian drones will burn all of them. There is no possibility to raise their heads, and every meter is mined. See the latest updates with us: Visioner
