I completely understand yoongi crying back then bc of how big bts was getting. This type of pressure could crush anyone if they didn’t have the right support system. Yeah, FIFA World Cup official ig account did a thing. They gave all the performers at the first ever half time show at a FIFA world cup final individual performance clip space on their ig page and not BTS!! When I saw their image I thought, oh nice, BTS got recognition too, but nope, it's a halftime performance highlight clip with all the performers. Then yesterday 20th, on BBC Radio 2 during the Sara Cox breakfast show, she correctly gave a recap of the artists that performed at the World cup halftime show, named the artist and played the song they performed. When it came to BTS, she played 'Butter' instead of "DYNAMITE" which they actually performed. I was so confused I had to double check that I watched BTS perform 'Dynamite' and not 'Butter'. Now, I'm I surprised that this is still happening in 2026, at first I was, but now I'm not because these organisations have made the choice to downplay/ undermine BTS in ways they think people won't notice. While out to dinner in Los Angeles, exuding that natural warmth and vivaciousness she carried everywhere, she was approached by a band member and asked if she would be part of their reality TV show. My phone just pinged me with an “on this day” memory from this day three years ago on 9/20/23. We were in Eagle Pass, TX and witnessed a mass illegal crossing of more than 4,000 illegal aliens crossing in one single spot in just two hours, leading to CBP having to shut down the nearby international bridges & ports of entry. Fox News was the only network there. The only resistance offered was Texas military & DPS assets which had placed razor wire at the edge of the river, but the Biden Border Patrol cut through it and in one infamous case, even used heavy machinery to lift it out of the way so the illegal aliens could proceed into the U.S. A complete free for all that day - and it would get even worse three months later in December 2023 when the illegal crossings reached the highest ever recorded in U.S. history with more than 11,000 in a single day.
