Kudos to Amdavad Municipal Corporation for doing a good job at designing broad, walkable footpaths at Rajpath Rangoli road. However sadly the design is still imperfect and needs bollards parallel to the road so that entitled car and SUV owners don’t encroach upon them! Also, why not empower pedestrians with an app in which they can take a photo and report and challans can reach the car owners online? Fully automated! Can be an additional revenue stream for the corporation.
