Idk man 2004/2014/2024 are pretty different

It’s a sign of a stagnant society. People just rehash trends now and creatives can’t get a foot hold in popular culture because the powers that drive trends are risk adverse.

Incorrect, 20 years ago women didn't walk around with their pussies showing through spandex tights

There’s something to it, but it’s overblown. Fashion has definitely changed in the past 20 years The Office takes place in a corporate workplace in a relatively small metropolitan area, so the characters aren’t exactly meant to be emblematic of the fashion trends of the time

"youth culture" come on man 2002 starter kit! It is there your just not looking.

Watch music videos from the 00's and you will notice the difference.

Although this is somewhat true, the pictures you show of the 60s and 70s are extreme examples. Not everyone dressed that way. You show the office, a TV show, from the 2000s. Compare that to "All in the Family" from the 70s or "The Andy Griffith Show" from the 60s and the differences are less noticeable. I think people pick out the most bizarre examples of a generation and that is what they picture the whole world looked like at that time.

Diversity. and 3rd wave feminism Men stop peacocking and wearing outrageous outfits to impress girls if feminists shrews destroy the dating market. There's a reason the most masculine warlike eras have the most garish outfits

Well.... no!

Early 2000s
