It’s accurate, but irresponsible, to say he commuted the sentence without noting that doesn’t mean he’s free and is still spending his life in prison. I’d genuinely thought you were above click bait tweets like this.

Anyone with basic reading comprehension skills can understand what commute a death sentence means. It’s still outrageous and you should be ashamed of yourself for wanting this person to live.

Commuting everyone's sentences except the terrorists means that the state reserves the right to use the death penalty as a deterrent against threats to *itself*, just not against threats to you or your family.
