Prison should be a punishing environment. It shouldn't be a country club. It should remind you why you're there & that you have a debt to pay. So, no, I don't feel much sympathy for the convicts whose sentences Joe Biden, or the autopen—whichever made that order—commuted. I think that commutation was thumbing the nose at the jurors who found those criminals worthy of the death penalty in the first place.
