Rachel Timmerman, the daughter, was thrown in a lake alive while weighted down. She was killed for being about to testify against the man who raped her. Timmerman notes that they had been willing to take the death penalty off the table if the murderer would only reveal where the 11 month old’s body was. Biden commuted his sentence anyway.

Prison should be a punishing environment. It shouldn't be a country club. It should remind you why you're there & that you have a debt to pay. So, no, I don't feel much sympathy for the convicts whose sentences Joe Biden, or the autopen—whichever made that order—commuted. I think that commutation was thumbing the nose at the jurors who found those criminals worthy of the death penalty in the first place.

In this video, Demetrius "D-Meech" Smith tried to brush off domestic violence charges involving a child, claiming he just "had bigger things going on." The judge wasn't having it.
