I worked on a hardware product like this back in 2011 but it sadly never shipped. I still think it's a great idea and I hope this works! See my essay on it: "A bicycle for the senses"

Such an easy win to just add an AI image layer on top that simply says: Turn this into a photorealistic image preserving, and carefully enhancing, the shape and positional details with high fidelity.

Good point and we are experimenting with it. But more than anything we value deterministic precision in our product.

Yes makes sense. But maybe a little upscaling and careful enhancement a la @Magnific_AI is probably going to be a major selling tool for this, even with legal caveats added.

Does it have to be pressed against a wall to see pipes that may be leaking? How much depth can it perceive?

It doesn’t need to be against the wall, it can image from a distance. We can see up to 10m, but have strict guardrails baked into the imaging algorithms for privacy reasons.

Post the price free and clear? Why do we have to sign up for anything just to see the price? Interesting product but register to pre-order? When I go buy food, the price is right there. When I buy a Tesla Model Y, the price is right there. A donut? Yup, the price is there.

So, handheld radar based on automotive short-range chips, some SLAM for a synthetic resolution increase, and a mobile SoC bolted on for visualization? Judging from the periodic artifacts in the images(and the fact that you don't show *any* live footage), low GHz range?

@Scobleizer I think about this all the time! Mostly what my house would look like if the WiFi was like a light bulb yet penetrated walls as WiFi does. Great to see someone bringing something useful to market.
