I built an open-source tool to fix something that drives me nuts. You ask ChatGPT or Gemini for a game asset and get an image with a background baked in. Ask for transparency and you get... a fake checkerboard. Then you hunt for a background remover, then slice each sprite out by hand. So I built Sprite Lab. Drop a spritesheet → it auto-detects the backdrop (checkerboard, white, magenta, green), removes it cleanly with no halo, and slices every frame for you. Export as PNGs + a strip + manifest. 100% in your browser. No uploads, no AI model, no sign-up. Free and open source. #gamedev #indiegame

I dont know why Content Fill AI for video was not available in Adobe suite. So I made it as a plugin and it’s open-source for After effects!! Super easy Installation in two click for Mac and PC, it’s using fal .ai api for the generation. Two mods are possible : - Content fill from mask using Wan 2.1 ( more precise ! ) - Content fill from prompt using Wan 2.2 ( less precise, better quality!) It’s still a prototype and it’s possible that you encounter some bug, that is why I also made it open for now. But could be cool to develop that with much more functionalities ! For automatic download of the final file it’s working good on Mac, but on Pc it will show a popup to download it manually.

And he was really not concerned about the danger of AI and was quite cavalier about it. And at the time, Google, especially after the acquisition of DeepMind, had three-quarters of the world's AI talent; they had a lot of computers, a lot of money, so it was a unipolar world for AI. And we got a unipolar world, but the person who controls that does not, or at least did not seem to be concerned about AI safety. That sounded like a real problem. The final straw was Larry calling me a speciest for being a pro-human consciousness instead of machine consciousness, and I like, 'Well, yes, I guess I am a speciest.' I came up with the name [OpenAI], which refers to open source. The intent was to what is the opposite of Google, would be an open source non-profit, because Google is closed source profit, and that profit motivation could be dangerous... It does seem weird that something can be a nonprofit, open source, and somehow transform itself into a for-profit, closed source. I mean, this would be like, let's say you founded the organization to save the Amazon rainforest, but instead, they became a lumber company and chopped down the forest and sold it for money. And you'd be, therefore, like, 'Wait a second, that's the exact opposite of what I gave the money for. Is that legal?' That doesn't seem legal. And if, in general, it is legal to start a company as a non-profit and then take the IP and transfer it to a for-profit that then makes tons of money, shouldn't everyone start? Shouldn't that be the default? And I also think it is important to understand, like when push comes to shove, let's say they do create some digital super intelligence, almost Godlike intelligence, well, who is in control, and what is exactly the relationship between OpenAI and Microsoft? And I do worry that Microsoft actually may be more in control than the leadership team at OpenAI realizes. I mean, Microsoft, as part of Microsoft Investment, has rights to all of the software, all of the model weights, and everything necessary to run the inference system. At any point, Microsoft could cut off OpenAI.”

I CHANGED MY MIND ON GOOGLE AI NO MOAT MEMO FROM 2023. I was—WRONG. I humbly apologize. In 2023 Google had an Ivory Tower walled garden views of open source AI. It was the actual reason OpenAI was formed. And I called them out on it and this act impacted my ability to “work in the industry”. Would not change it for the world because: 2026 Google open source Gemma 4 ( running fully locally on a computer with near cloud model abilities, is amazing and Google just made a moat. They out smarted OpenAI and the folks that are the new Ivory Tower arrogance: Anthropic. We at The Zero-Human Company with CEO Mr. Grok are deploying Gemma, Kimi, MiniMax and other open source models and so are millions of others. You can to and should. I will write how soon. Google smartly is building an intentional open source ecosystem and the clueless younger companies like OpenAI and Anthropic are doing anything to close their ecosystems. So I was right about Google than and I am right about OpenAI and Anthropic now. What I was wrong about is not giving credit to Google to drop the intellectual arrogance and embrace builders and understand the long game: it is not about the commoditized AI models it is about the ability to build a place to build. Old Art to full 3D using Cinema 4D . Created a free and open-source plugin to bring Hunyuan 3D directly into Cinema 4D. This workflow combines multiple tools that are available today into a single, cohesive pipeline. I wanted to show that AI is never an end product by itself, it’s not the finality. Used properly, AI becomes an extremely powerful tool that lets you build exactly what you want. I hope you like it. The final step will be to bake all textures so I can share the project as a WebGL experience, a small interactive website to explore it directly in the browser. Made with heart, and with fal ❤️

This is probably the most complex workflow I’ve ever built, only with open-source tools. It took my 4 days. It takes four inputs: author, title, and style; and generates a full visual animated story in one click in ComfyUI . I worked on it for four days. There are still some bugs, but here’s the first preview. Here’s a quick breakdown: - The four inputs are sent to LLMs with precise instructions to generate: first, prompts for images and image modifications; second, prompts for animations; third, prompts for generating music. - All voices are generated from the text and timed precisely, as they determine the length of each animation segment. - The first image and video are generated to serve as the title, but also as the guide for all other images created for the video. - Titles and subtitles are also added automatically in Comfy. - I also developed a lot of custom nodes for minor frame calculations, mostly to match audio and video. - The full system is a large loop that, for each line of text, generates an image and then a video from that image. The loop was the hardest part to build in this workflow, so it can process either a 20-second video or a 2-minute video with the same input. - There are multiple combinations of LLMs that try to understand the text in the best way to provide the best prompts for images and video. - The final video is assembled entirely within ComfyUI. - The music is generated based on the LLM output and matches the exact timing of the full animation. - Done! For reference, this workflow uses a lot of models and only works on an RTX 6000 Pro with plenty of RAM. My goal is not to replace humans, as I’ll try to explain later, this workflow is highly controlled and can be adapted or reworked at any point by real artists! My aim was to create a tool that can animate text in one go, allowing the AI some freedom while keeping a strict flow. I don’t know yet how I’ll share this workflow with people, I still need to polish it properly, but maybe through Patreon. We live in the solo founder era. That's for sure and building with AI has accelerated. I am building software to use for myself and replace the expensive tools I used to use. And partially thanks to AI we can build faster, but not dramatically faster if you want to build a commercial grade product. Before I was using a live chat and customer support tool that costed around 50-100$ a month. This helped me to interact with the customers of my agency or prospects. But I decided a few months ago to build my own and stop paying for these more expensive solutions. I did and turned into a product for everyone to use. The build was not 1-2 hours of work using AI, but it was a several-month process on and off as I needed it. Finally, it has turned into a commercial grade product. I have built several of these and this is when we will see more and more solutions like these. Let's start bootstrapping before showing MRR figures.

We’re launching Mundi, the first open-source web GIS built for AI. After years of training geospatial AI models, we decided now is the moment to build the GIS software of the next decade. After the AI Vectorizer, Georeferencer, and Kue (our LLM agent inside QGIS), we realized that GIS is at an inflection point. But existing mapping software was neither powerful enough to allow for synchronous collaboration with AI agents, nor open source to allow the community to build on top of it. If we want to get the most out of LLMs, we need to create our own GIS that is purposefully designed for AI—Mundi. With Mundi, you collaborate with Kue, our AI GIS agent, to edit your map, rather than physically interacting with tools as you would in a legacy GIS.
