We also ran a benchmark with a few other cloud coding agents, @computer vs Devin, Capy, Hoplite and Replicas. Here’s what we found (full details in the blog)

“Can someone look at this?” gets more interesting with Claude Code and Codex in Slack. Letting people bring their existing subscriptions is a thoughtful touch.

thanks!! give it a try! the "magic" is rather hard to describe - you only truly feel that its different from all other Slack agents when you start chatting with it

i love that you have your own hosting. I don't love how tool calls show up it's a bit bouncy. But I think that's a slack limitation

Jack Bridger's profile picture
Jack Bridger4 days ago

I think you could make it clearer earlier what this can and can't see/do including connecting claude code. i am just connecting on personal throwaway slack for now

Jack Bridger's profile picture
Jack Bridger4 days ago

but maybe this is me not paying attention and you do say lolll

Jack Bridger's profile picture
Jack Bridger4 days ago

setting tokens is nice. is that native to slack? or something you added

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski4 days ago

thanks!! super helpful yeah Slack has these forms as UI option for bots and we use them to send secrets to secret store, bypassing the LLM so it is securely stored

wait why is it faster?

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

bunch of infra magic compounding we obsessed over every single latency across every single stage of every single hot path, and evolved the architecture for it also measured early, and introduced a boyscout rule for every change (easy to enforce with agents) - a change can only improve performance, or worst case not degrade it, but never ever make it worse the result is this try it, it feels qualitatively different compared to anything else that we know of out there

How do you handle secrets? Does each session get its own?

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

you can add secrets right in the thread securely using !secret command (or the model can ask you to) it opens secure popup and secrets go into secret storage that's outside the sandbox so the model never sees them secrets can be scoped per-session, per-user or per-org

Erdal's profile picture
Erdal5 days ago

@buildwithdesi How can the model never see the secret are they mocked/proxied

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

for stuff like model API keys yes its a synthetic key proxy when you explicitly intend to give a secret to a session - then obviously it'd be exposed as env var but then for stuff like automations, background tasks whatnot, separate secret store and harness never sees it - also via synthetic proxying, whitelisted by origin

is this available end to end privately? 🙌 so we data isn't leaked. or trained on?

Álvaro ;)'s profile picture

I don't get why I someone would need this, can you explain?

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

to get more stuff done faster, with less context switching but to be fair that's not a need shared universally so many people in fact do not need this. only those who care about getting more stuff done faster

Álvaro ;)'s profile picture
Álvaro ;)5 days ago

The main issue I see is that working on a cloud service makes you lose context of your local files. It’s only really worth it if your entire setup is already hosted on GitHub or another cloud provider

Surya's profile picture
Surya5 days ago

how is data privacy & security handled ?

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

multiple levels of isolation all the way down to actual hardware perimeter per org so your Computer is truly yours - all the underlying services and data are not shared with other tenants you can think of it as a little "private cloud" of sorts managed by agents you control

slack as the front door is smart, that's where the "can you just fix this" asks already live. curious how it handles an agent needing a secret mid run

does claude have access to your local machine over the wire?

Igor Zalutski's profile picture
Igor Zalutski5 days ago

no, the harness runs in an isolated cloud environment
