🎉🚀 Introducing Noya (YC W23) 🚀🎉 Noya is a wireframing tool that generates designs & code. Try it out: Noya lets you work in low-fidelity wireframes, while still producing high-fidelity designs and React prototypes to share with your team.

Before Noya, my cofounder @dechen and I were part of Airbnb Design Tools, which was doing a lot of exciting design tools work. E.g. sketching interfaces (by @thatbenlifetho and @jemgold_) Designing interfaces shouldn’t feel tedious; it should feel magical

As our first public release, I still think of this version of Noya as an MVP. There’s so much more I want to add, both for better wireframing and beyond. But we’re already using it ourselves and finding it very valuable. We’d love early feedback if you have a chance to try it!

This version of Noya is built on top of on an open source design tools SDK I started in 2020: A good chunk of the open source SDK was sponsored by @graphprotocol, as part of an effort to provide open design data to devs worldwide (more on this later)

What we’re sharing today wouldn’t be possible without the help of the amazing designers & developers who collaborated with me on the open source SDK: @thavsisaround @souporserious @lnpepper

We even have a Noya mobile app built by Michał Sęk of @swmansion. It’s not ready for release just yet, but a native design tool for mobile would be awesome, so we hope to revisit this.

I like it. Fast and feels lightweight, maybe a little confusing at times but a cool direction.
