please introduce REM next update so I never have to log into Webflow again

This?

that but for all things spacing, not just type

great work as always Team!

this reminded me of the vibe and excitement of Apple events of long ago, very well presented and super polished visuals, congrats @framer team!

Seems like a pointless thing to do no?

We did it anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Insane update team, going to make client projects so much easier 🔥

🔥 This new on-page editing update is seriously impressive! That said, I really hope Framer also takes time to address a few long-standing UX issues: – Editing color styles still scrolls all the way to the top — this bug has been around forever and makes the process frustrating. – Scroll sections still require manual naming, which slows things down unnecessarily. These small pain points really add up in day-to-day use. Still, this update feels like a big step toward the future 👏

My clients gonna love this <3

honestly, seeing this update made me pause for a sec. i love how smooth framer is making edits for clients! just click and change. but part of me knows… this is also how a lot of designers get cut out. not the ones thinking big picture. but the ones just filling boxes.

One less Loom video to create for my clients 🔥

Love this update🔥 It's easy for our non-technical clients.🙌

Any plans to include this as an out-of-the-box solution for template users? Seems like it could make editing and customizing Framer templates a lot easier.

Yep, watch the entire announcement. We mention that we have a vision for that.

Well done Framer team! 👏👏

This will help a lot

Hey @framer, how do I activate it? I'm on pro plan.

Project permissions are available on the launch plan and up. On-page editing is available on all paid plans meaning on the personal plans anyone with edit rights can edit.

So, if I understand correctly, it is not possible to use it with a free plan to collaborate during the creation of the site, only once the subscription has been launched and a paid user must be added to use it?

Correct, all paid plans

I understand, but I hope that it will be updated with at least two free editors someday because, for now, as an agency, it's a bit tricky to justify these additional costs to small clients who subscribe to basic or pro plans. But nice effort, this feature is a big step forward!

*as a small agency 😅

this is great

Huge!

best team, no doubt!

This is going to make selling transitions to Framer so much more enticing. Let’s go!

lovely feature🌟

This is crazy 🎉

No stickers?! This is a great update though 🔥

Finally! The CMS-canvas dance was always my biggest Framer friction point. On-page editing feels like the natural evolution.

such a wonderful update! especially for the template customers. 😃

Wow! Real great function. Now Framer #1 web-builder in the world! 🤟

Ooh, no more clicking through to edit a headline? Game changer for design flow

This looks beautiful. Curious, any plans to support motion or animation edits directly on-page?

Imagine letting your client in there 😂

This issssss big

Now, this is dope 👌🏼
