Great to see @vercel joining the visual editing movement and affirming it's such a necessary tool for all web creators. Stackbit supports visual editing for any deployment platform, headless CMS, and frontend framework — no extra dependencies and no vendor lock-in. @contentful @sanity_io @Contentstack @strapijs @datocms @Netlify @nextjs @Azure @cloudinary @figma @storybookjs @WordPress @angular @Cloudflare @NinetailedHQ

"We're working on an open specification for content source-mapping that will enable any CMS, ecommerce system or content source to support Visual Editing." 🤙

It's interesting to see @vercel pushing visual editing. This confirms our vision for the future. @ReactBricks CMS has true visual editing based on React components since 2020, cross-framework (@nextjs, @GatsbyJS, @remix_run) and cross-platform (@vercel, @Netlify, anything!).

I built this one for @elonmusk with @stackbit's visual editor back in the day.

Does @builderio has plan to be part of one of the providers ? 👀

Enterprise unfortunately 😣

document.designMode='on' on steroids

Why not share the spec at launch? Seems like a miss. I think, as an industry, we should all be embarrassed that editing content is an enterprise feature.

So this is what In-Sanity looks like
