Introducing the Tasklet sandbox VM. Every agent now gets its own Linux environment with Python, ffmpeg, imagemagick, and a persistent filesystem. Create, process & transfer files, use code to analyze data, make network requests, install packages & more.

Full post: tl;dr — Tasklet doesn't just say "here's how you could do it." like other AIs. It actually *does the work itself*, even when that work involves large amounts of data, files, complex code, network access, etc.

Some examples: - Upload a messy CSV, get back a cleaned Excel file with charts - Drop in images, get them batch-resized and converted - Ask for a video and get an actual video Complex workflows that used to require engineering time now happen in a conversation.

Connections support files now too, so you can chain things: - Email attachments → convert to PDF → file in Drive - Pull API data → analyze → generate report - Screenshots via computer use → narrated video critique The combos get wild.

This stacks with triggers, thousands of integrations, computer use, our subagent architecture, etc to make Tasklet the most powerful agent for automating any business process. Try it at

Have been super impressed at how seamless in-depth task completion has been - very much looking forward to code execution now too for more complex tasks! 🚀

A very cool update. Having a persistent "VM" like sandbox drastically expands the (already impressive) list of use-case that Tasklets can be used in! Any chances you'll add a Personal plan soon? The $35/month is a bit hard to justify with how I use it personally today.

I once emailed you that said the subscription fee was a little high. NO It's not. This is mind-blowingly powerful. Let me figure out my use case, and jump onboard.

this looks like a solid foundation for devops experimentation.

Hi Jonny, this demo is really cool. I wanted to ask whether the sandbox was implemented by yourselves using Firecracker.

This is the right architecture. Agents that "do the work" need isolated runtimes - not just for security, but for reproducibility. Persistent filesystem is key - stateless sandboxes lose context between calls. Execution infra is becoming the moat
