Still struggling to find the right words. Ifunanya, a gifted singer with Amemuso Choir, and one of the brilliant young women who acted with me in the stage adaptation of Arrow of God, is gone. Last year, I was on stage to congratulate her for her award winning performance of Pamino in the opera Magic Flute adapted by AMEMUSO Choir Gentle, talented, full of light. Her voice and presence lifted everyone around her. This is a loss that cuts deep. Her passing is also a painful reminder of a fact we often ignore: Abuja is prone to snakes. By geography, the FCT lies within the savannah belt, and rapid expansion into former bushland means snake encounters, are a real risk. We must do better. FCT Administration should ensure anti-venom is readily available in public hospitals and emergency centres across the FCT. They should Carry out regular fumigation and bush control in residential neighbourhoods, especially fast-growing estates and satellite towns. Strengthen public awareness and emergency response protocols for snakebite cases. Individuals should keep surroundings clear; control rodents; use light at night and fumigate their premises. If you encounter a snake bite victim keep the person calm and still, immobilise the limb, and go immediately to the nearest hospital with anti-venom. Do not cut, suck, tie tight tourniquets, or apply home remedies. Treatment protocols include administering intravenous fluid (drip) to stabilise patient. It does not push or carry the venom to the heart. Ifunanya deserved a longer life, a larger stage, more applause. The advantages to that are it's easy to explain to people what you do. And the disadvantages to that are you don't own any brand equity,” 2. Take a known word and give it a new meaning ”Apple Computer. Amazon. That’s viable, but you have to build a new definition for that word, which those companies obviously did successfully.” 3. Make up a new word “The hard way, and the best way is to make up a word, which is super hard because you have to tell people what the word means,” “You have to define it for them. some advice for designing tools in the age of ai: 1. embrace ambiguity — ai tools work best when you're comfortable with not having full control. leave room for emergence and surprise. 2. focus on the human-ai collaboration model — design the interaction patterns, not just the outputs. what's the back-and-forth like? how do humans guide the ai? 3. design for iteration, not perfection — ai outputs are rarely perfect the first time. design systems that make refinement natural and easy. 4. think in systems, not features — ai changes fast, so build adaptable foundations rather than specific implementations that will break. 5. protect against the uncanny valley — either make it obviously ai-generated or indistinguishable from human work. the middle ground feels weird. 6. consider the invisible costs — ai has computational, environmental, and social costs that aren't immediately visible but matter. 7. design for augmentation, not replacement — the best ai tools make humans more capable rather than trying to replace them. 8. build in feedback loops — systems that learn from user interactions get better over time. the thing is, we're all figuring this out together. the design patterns for ai are still being invented. it's like the early web days — exciting, messy, and full of possibilities.

How thoughtful Donghae is to his fans 🥹🩷 #DONGHAE #동해 D: Whether they (Fans) come from Seoul, or from Gwangju, or from Thailand, or South America, they spend that time to see this one performance. They're investing that time. Buying that ticket is exchanging it for an experience with me. They're spending that money to gain happiness. The money they worked hard to earn, they're exchanging it for an experience. Booking hotels and everything, thinking about all of those things, They spend hundreds of dollars to watch this performance, to buy their happiness. If we go out there and do a terrible job, no matter how much they're fans, they'll be disappointed, they will be disappointed. Accidents may happen, even though we should prevent them, but the way we can make people feel better is by working harder ourselves. Even on stage, if anyone can see that it's a mistake, and you're moving lazily, saying, "Let's take it easy because we're older," "Because we're older," "let's just take it easy today," I really think that makes no sense. I think people like that shouldn't be performing at all. In the end, being sincere, and doing your absolute best on stage, that's what creates the emotional impact.

30 years ago today the Tibetan Freedom Concerts launched. On June 14, 1998, Pearl Jam took the stage at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. for Day 2 of the third-ever TFC. 3 KEYS THAT CAN HELP BELIEVERS TRANSIT FROM THE OLD WINESKIN TO THE NEW WINESKIN 1. Recognize that even at our best, we’re limited in knowledge and perspectives. (1 Corinthians 8:2, 1 Corinthians 13:9) The journey of transformation starts with humility. Before God pours new wine, He first breaks the old wineskin—outdated ideologies, limiting mindsets, and prideful postures of anti-dominion, anti-revival, and anti-advancement structures for a Kingdom-oriented mindset. “And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.” — 1 Corinthians 8:2. In other words, no matter your experience or success, there's still more to learn. This realization shouldn't be mistaken for weakness. Instead, it reflects meekness - a posture that acknowledges the endless depth of God's wisdom and power. It’s the awareness that there's more: More to the anointing. More to spiritual growth. More to purpose, business, ministry, and life. No one has the full picture, for we all know in part—that’s why God designed us to function in unity, not isolation. Let’s stay teachable. Stay humble enough to receive what God is doing through others. Because pride clings to the old. But humility makes room for the new.
