OK. So finally something constructive has emerged from all of it. But my experience is that if @Microsoft names something as "Studio", it is generally shit.

It's called Copilot Studio and lets you connect Copilot (=ChatGPT) to your data sources. Like ChatGPT, you can share them but also manage user controls and analytics. Copilot Studio is available with Copilot for Microsoft 365 as a preview.
