How to Remove Unwanted NFTs from Your Wallet From time to time, you might receive unsolicited NFTs in your #SAFEMOONWALLET App. While these #NFTs may not be inherently dangerous, the links associated with them could be. For optimal wallet security, it's wise to refrain from clicking such links. 🚨 New Crypto Pop-Up Is Draining Users 🚨 If you use a crypto wallet, you're familiar with the embedded browser pop-up that prompts you to sign transactions. However, scammers are now exploiting this in an updated scam tactic. When a user navigates to a scam site via social engineering, sponsored scam ads, or scam comments on X with a look-alike link, it mirrors the real website, in this case, to claim a Jupiter airdrop (not real). The website mirrors the real site exactly and follows the normal flow: clicking "connect wallet," then detecting which wallets you have installed in the browser. In this VM, I have MetaMask 🦊 and Phantom installed, so it detected both. I was already logged into MetaMask, so when I clicked on it, instead of prompting me within the MetaMask browser extension, it created a new pop-up window (separate browser window) impersonating MetaMask, displaying the URL and mimicking the real MetaMask behavior. Since my MetaMask wallet was empty, it said I "was not eligible". But if I had any funds in the wallet, it would have prompted for a wallet-draining signature/approval. When I tested with Phantom, it followed the same flow. However, because I wasn't logged into Phantom, the fake window impersonating Phantom popped up first, followed by the real Phantom prompt within the browser asking me to log in so that way the scam window pop up could prompt me for a scam approval/signature to drain that wallet after I logged into my legit wallet. While you may be watching this closely and catching the red flags, like the scam Vercel app URL showing in the address bar, many people don't read anything when prompted for a wallet connection or signature. They simply click. This scam has already drained many wallets because people click without taking even one second to review what they're signing. Always, no matter what, take at least a few seconds to review what you're signing in your wallet each time. Something as simple as noticing the URL bar could save you from losing everything….. Two weeks ago, when Cashback was released, I was unhappy with the model and hired three software engineers to build out Bedrock, a fee distribution product that rewards holders. Even though one of the devs we hired had credibility and had been hired by companies like Gemini, he went behind my back, sniped the launch, and immediately extracted. After two of the devs dropped the project within less than 24 hours, we had to scramble to find new developers to keep the tech running. After the coin reached a $1M market cap and we had parted ways with him, the malicious dev continued to grift and sabotage our project by launching a new token on the Bedrock Fee Distribution wallet and purposely shutting down our servers. Shutting down our servers, which caused the site to go offline, eroded trust within the community and caused our token price to drop rapidly. He has since been kicked out of his university blockchain club, and we have changed the Fee Distribution wallet so that he no longer has access to it. He is no longer a security risk to the project, and we will continue to build Bedrock transparently and in public.

Today, one of our internal operational accounts - used only for liquidity provisioning on a partner exchange - was compromised due to a sophisticated server breach. I confirm that the CoinDCX wallets used to store customer assets are not impacted and are completely safe. Before I share further details on this, I would like to highlight that: -No customer funds have been impacted -Your assets remain completely safe and protected in our secure cold wallet infrastructure -All trading activity and INR withdrawals are fully operational The incident was quickly contained by isolating the affected operational account. Since our operational accounts are segregated from customer wallets, the exposure is only limited to this specific account and is being fully absorbed by us - from our own treasury reserves. Our internal security and operations teams have been working through the day along with leading cybersecurity partners to investigate the matter, patch any vulnerabilities and trace the movement of funds. We are collaborating with the exchange partner to block and recover assets, including coming out with a bug bounty program soon. Every security incident is a learning and we will learn from this and further strengthen our platform, more importantly this is our time to win this war against cyberthreats in the industry and we commit to work together with experts to secure our industry.
