Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has completely targeted its competitors at the iPhone, and no longer competes with Chinese brand phones. This is because young people in South Korea are almost completely occupied by Apple, and Samsung’s strategy is to pull these young people back, so it strives to make Galaxy look like the Apple iPhone. There are several reasons for not competing with Chinese brands: 1. On the surface, although the Chinese Ultra models have powerful cameras and are suitable for those who pursue the ultimate in images, they are only limited to these people. Overall, the sales of Ultra models are not high, and even the sum of all brands of Ultra models cannot be compared with the sales of S24Ultra. 2. Moreover, these models with powerful cameras are relatively thick and heavy, with serious camera bulges, and the design is not perfect. It cannot be perfect. This design may not be suitable for everyone. Samsung will not easily take the risk to adopt this design in the global market. 3. The infinitely enhanced camera configuration will greatly increase the cost, which is difficult for Samsung to accept, and the production of this frequently updated camera may not be able to support Samsung's sales demand of tens of millions. In short, the Chinese brand Ultra model is more like a special non-popular model suitable for geeks. The Galaxy S25 series is defined as a popular model, and it must consider everyone's feelings and sufficient supply. This is why Samsung will not design the S25 Ultra as a Chinese brand Ultra. It remains consistent with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, but subtly. It is always slightly better than it For example, it is a little thinner (8.2mm vs 8.25mm), a little lighter (219g vs 227g), a little narrower bezel, a little stronger performance, a little more camera (retain 3x), a little more ultra-wide-angle pixels (50MP vs 48MP), a little bigger battery, and a little faster charging. Even the most incredible improvement: One UI 7.1 is a little smoother than iOS18 software. This is happening.

🚨 Serious Security Concern at Roswell Women’s and Children’s Hospital ‼️ Roswell Women and Children's Hospital I am extremely disappointed & concerned about a recent incident involving my vulnerable patient under care at Roswell Hospital. The patient (in orange left her sickbed to go for a short call) and then: An unidentified individual was able to: * Enter the hospital without proper registration * Bypass security and reception protocols * Access a private patient ward without authorization * Steal a patient's personal property (iPhone 16 Pro Max) This raises serious questions about patient safety and security procedures within the facility. Hospitals are meant to be safe environments, especially for patients who are already in a vulnerable condition. The most troubling part is the lack of response and assistance from the hospital following the incident. No meaningful support, accountability, or clear explanation has been provided so far. 1. How is it possible for an unregistered individual to freely access patient areas? 2. What security measures are actually in place to protect patients and their belongings? 3. Why has there been no proactive effort to resolve or even properly address this incident? This situation reflects a concerning lapse in basic security protocols and patient protection standards. I urge Roswell Hospital to: • Review and strengthen visitor access controls • Provide transparency about what went wrong • Take responsibility and support the affected patient Patients and their families deserve safety, accountability, and respect-not silence. #PatientSafety #HospitalSecurity #Negligence #Accountability #HealthcareStandards

My Lost Soul Aside Impressions: I’m playing on the PS5 Pro in performance mode with a VRR display, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. For me, the image looks sharp and the gameplay runs very smooth with 60fps. Even during big boss fights, I haven’t noticed any significant drops. Claims that the game runs at 20fps are absolute nonsense. I wouldn’t recommend quality mode, as the missing frames per second and the input delay are a major disadvantage, especially with such fast-paced gameplay. Visually, I’d say the game looks very good, but not outstanding. Environmental details are sometimes not fully polished, and the facial animations could be better. On the other hand, the characters are incredibly detailed, which I really enjoyed. The combat animations are absolutely fantastic, and the choreographed fight cutscenes are brilliant. Boss fights are simply phenomenal and I loved every second of them. The whole experience feels like a mix of Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry. Bosses also come with certain mechanics you have to trigger, which adds depth. The soundtrack has impressed me so far, mixing rock tracks with softer melodies that really bring the fantasy world to life. However, the audio mixing between cutscenes and gameplay is sometimes off and should be fixed. The game is very linear, which I personally find refreshing and not a negative at all. The map reminds me of Final Fantasy X, with some side paths that hide chests or items. Puzzles are simple but help break things up. Larger areas are often rather empty though, and exploration can feel unrewarding when all you find is “+7 gold.” The story so far is quite predictable. I didn’t enjoy the English voice acting and switched to the Chinese original, which feels much better. I also made some adjustments to improve my experience: in the sound menu, I boosted the weapon effects and increased the music volume. In combat, I found there’s too much chatter and subtitles are distracting, so I turned them off completely. The game is challenging, and I’d definitely consider it demanding. There are no difficulty options, but if you die often enough, you’ll get amulets that make the gameplay noticeably easier. Now, onto the clear highlight of the game: the combat system. My goodness, it’s amazing. The chaining of attacks and overall complexity are simply brilliant. It’s an endless fireworks display of effects, and for me the wait was truly worth it. At first, combat might seem simple, but as you progress you unlock new weapons with their own skill trees, special attacks that can be upgraded, new combo actions, and the ability to switch weapons instantly in battle to chain them into even more combos. Different weapons can also interact with the environment and trigger special effects. It’s just genius. Another fantastic feature is weapon customization. You can freely change the appearance of your weapons, as every weapon can take on the look of another. You can also adjust details in real time, resize parts, reposition them, and all changes are applied instantly without requiring resources. Even better, these customizations carry over into cutscenes. When you move to the next level, the camera zooms out and shows your characters in a charming overworld view, similar to Expedition 33. A really nice touch. So far, I’ve been enjoying the game immensely, and I simply couldn’t put it down. If you’re expecting a combo-based combat system, you definitely won’t be disappointed in my opinion. The linear level design felt incredibly refreshing, and it genuinely transported me back to the PS2 era, always leaving me with a warm feeling in my heart.

“There is a tension between what the users of a currency want – and the users of a currency tend to like freedom, autonomy, and discretion as to what they spent their money on – and what the issuers of a currency want; and bluntly, the issuers of a currency want control. Control of monetary policy, and control of you.” The Bank of England’s consultation papers make very clear the level of control that they wish to exercise over you, and over your supposed financial autonomy, if you were to use their #DigitalPound. (1) You’ll need to provide ID in order to use the #DigitalPound: “For the digital pound, tiered access would allow for different levels of user access and functionality based on the amount of identification (ID) a user is willing or able to provide.” (2) The Bank will dictate how much you can hold: “The Bank would place some limits on holdings of digital pounds, at least during its introductory period.” (3) The digital pound will be programmable, if not by the Bank itself then by third party providers: “Programmability, delivered by Payment Interface Providers, could also enable the use of smart contracts, which carry out specific actions based on pre-defined terms and conditions.” Quotes are from from the Bank of England’s Digital Pound consultation paper: Whatever the #DigitalPound will be, it won’t be cash. Cash does not require me to show ID to use it. I can hold as much cash as I want or need. And, along with #Bitcoin, cash is a bearer instrument whose title is freely transferrable upon delivery, which is very difficult for a central bank to control. And long may it stay this way. A huge shout out and thank you to Lyn Alden, who made this point much more eloquently than I did in her excellent book #BrokenMoney. Thank you! Also I’m aware that my hand gestures in this clip are reminiscent of Richard Hendricks manipulating ‘datas’ on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt in #SiliconValley, and for this I can only apologize: #BitcoinConference #Amsterdam #NoToCBDCs

🚨⚠️ I NEED TO SAY THIS, BECAUSE AS SOMEONE WHO LEADS A TEAM, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW THESE THINGS WORK. ⚠️🚨 🩺 As a surgeon, I work every day with teams where every single person plays a vital role. In surgery, the anesthesiologist, scrub techs, assistants, nurses, and specialists each have a precise moment where their work must be seen, executed, and respected for the operation to succeed. If one part fails, the overall execution loses quality. 🎥 And the same applies to a stage performance. 📍There are cameramen positioned at every corner. 📍There are technical directors. 📍There are people coordinating transitions, camera cuts, and screen time. Everything is rehearsed. Everything is planned. Everything follows a script. So explain to me why, when it’s Jimin’s moment to execute his part —his lines, his center, his movements, his expressions— the camera suddenly cuts away, ignores him, or prioritizes other shots instead. 🎭📷 Because this is NOT accidental. ❌ And the fans can SEE IT. 👀 This is not about competing against other members. This is about professional respect for the work of EVERY member of BTS. A perfect performance works like a perfect surgery: ✨ every detail matters, ✨ every contribution matters, ✨ and every professional deserves to be shown at the exact moment their role is meant to shine. Jimin should not disappear from the screen during key moments of his performance. He should not be treated like background noise when he is an essential piece of the entire show. And don’t tell me I’m exaggerating. Don’t tell me everyone is treated equally. Don’t tell me anything at all. 👁️ JUST WATCH. 👁️ And if after watching you still choose to ignore it, then the problem isn’t that it doesn’t exist… the problem is that you refuse to see reality. Because to miss something this obvious, you would have to be completely blind. ⚠️🚨 And THIS is exactly why we, as fans, need to continue elevating Jimin’s music, his image, his artistry, and his impact even louder. 🎶🔥 Stream his music. Support his projects. Talk about his talent. Highlight his performances. Protect his name. Make sure the world sees what some cameras keep failing to show. Because no matter how much they try to minimize his moments… his presence is simply impossible to erase. ✨👑 BIGHIT MUSIC HYBE OFFICIAL WITH JIMIN TILL THE END WE LOVE YOU JIMIN JIMIN JIMIN

Do you understand anon? do u know how angry so many men of the US are rn? Bc to them, this didn't start with the train girl or today bc they lost their debate bro. "Debate me / change my mind" culture started on college campuses about 10 years ago bc a lot of young men were being driven crazy bc they didn't feel like they were being heard or that they could speak, they were quite literally being yelled at, cancelled, shoo'ed away for speaking against "woke" (which is why this became such a huge catch all phrase) the "debate me" guys were/are hugely important to many young men in this country because they can have dialogue without violence, they also observed that the lockstep censorship (which don't even start, was a thing) also led them to form entire orgs to protect their ability to do so. you probably think this will just die down anon, but it won't, it's a continuation of escalation that already started, but you were too busy collecting LABUBUs and calling everyone bigots to notice it. The slaughter (and celebration) of the debate bro's death will have a lot of consequences, some u will see right away some u won't, I know he did not call for violence or extermination of others and was pro 2A, this was the guy that was fairly moderate all things considered. So how the men are seeing it (from what they're saying) is that the other "side" is done talking and intent on violence. It doesn't even seem like a matter of if something will happen but a matter of when. Jordan Peterson (my benzo queen) tried to warn you but u didn't listen bc u wanted to make Kermit the frog memes. all in all anon, you probably would prefer to have the debate me bros who were not doing anything violent, rather than opening up the door bc this is only where it starts. I am always an advocate of dialogue myself, but I think at this point anon, you don't realize the demons you unleashed.

Saturday - Adam Friedland This musical intro was the best part of the show. The rest of his act just made me miss Nick Mullen. Unlike every other show this week, there were girls there. They seem to love this guy. I used him as bait, to get the girl from Wednesday to go out with me again. She loves Red Scare Podcast and this Jewish twink is a staple of the Red Scare Extended Universe and I wanted to fuck her and so let's go see Adam Friedland. The problem with Adam is that he has no conviction. He does not own the room, he's just filling space. He announced that his father was there, in the crowd, which is great, let's hear something that might make your father uncomfortable. No such thing was said. He stared at the floor for half the set, as if he was sorry for being there. I saw Mulaney the night before; the difference was stark. Mulaney can get away with being a sheepish pushover twink Sometimes because he also has balls. He can accelerate from "Aw shucks" to "SHUCK YOU MOTHERSHUCKER" and both versions of himself feel true. Look, I get it, being a sad sorry pushover is his schtick and it works with the voice and it's very relatable for sensitive young men who didn't do sports in high school but to carry a room for a full hour you also need to be able to fight back. I could hear Nick's intonations in his voice. But it's clear that Mulldog spent all his creative energy this week ghostwriting the white guys' lines for the Roast of Kevin Hart and so Friedland was left to fend for himself, comedically. The mark of whether a comedian is delivering or not, for me, is whether I hold my piss in to keep hearing them. This was not the case on Saturday night. I recall stepping out and getting a good look at the crowd, and Friedland bumbling through his completely forgettable material, and thinking: this makes me feel like I could start stand up comedy today and dominate the genre. I have this instinct to say: Adam's young! He'll get better! But he's not. He won't. He's 39. He doesn't have the neuroplasticity. He crossed the Sensitive Young Man threshold ten years ago. Mulaney at 43 could be his father now. He's a "much better interviewer" apparently. I tuned out after Cumtown ended because frankly I don't give a shit about the middle east, and that's 90% of what he talks about. Different strokes. I asked some guy in the bathroom, mid-piss: "what would you rate this show, out of 10?" He said: ehh, like a 6. He's a much better interviewer. I don't hate Adam Friedland, I just wish there was anybody to be excited about in stand up comedy. Between this mens' magazine giving me a $500 stipend to "report" on all these shows and the $474 ticket to Gillis and the $432 ticket to Chappelle and the $741 ticket to Mulaney and all the drinks they make you buy at these things I'm feeling like a huge sunk cost leech on the world. Just taking people's money and using it to complain. At least my date seemed to be having a good time. I wrapped my hand around her low back and leaned into her head, wanting her but not sure how to say it. It's much easier to express that kind of thing on blow. Later that night I K-holed in public. Erica and I took way too much in the front seat of the van. We were outside a rave at 3 AM, they asked me to produce a QR code on my phone, I could barely stand. I felt like I was moving in 2D. The fat security guard barely flinched as I walked past him in slow heavy steps, like a penguin, marching into this densely fogged room with colorful lights and loud bumping trance music where all I could stand to do was lean against the heavily breathing walls. I tried to dance with the girl but it probably looked retarded. I didn't try to interact with anyone, I was too far gone. I thought of Karen, as I do every time I take K. The girl led me through the venue, as I worried I would fall over or walk straight into a wall. I worried about how bad this must look, how retarded I must look, wearing this huge XXL t-shirt tucked in to my pants that don't even fit that well because I have anterior pelvic tilt and no ass. I looked and felt like a clown. A failed clown. I was smiling painfully at Erica, looking down at her, and she was doing the same to me. We found a bathroom and I forced my way in. The ketamine was NOT wearing off. I felt my heart beating hard and my head spinning like I could have thrown up but there was nothing in my stomach besides liquid—no food all day besides a croissant at 2PM. I had downed some random person's red wine glass at the last bar. I worried it might have been spiked. I leaned with my head against the wall, sweating, wishing it would end, brutally aware that Erica's out there waiting for me, my friends are out there waiting for me, wondering if I'm okay, thinking he's too fucked up, he can't handle himself, I thought Thomas was always okay and always in control no matter what, they're losing confidence in me, they're losing confidence in themselves for associating with me, what is this big colorful retarded clown shirt I'm wearing I must look like such a fool right now I can't face these people, I can never face them ever again, my face must look so evil ugly and strained, I splash my face with water but it doesn't help, run it through my hair but it doesn't help, get the water all over my shirt but then it just looks like I threw up on myself or pissed myself or something, and I don't have another shirt, should I go out there shirtless, no that's worse, how am I ever going to leave this bathroom, why won't this K wear off, now Erica's calling me, texting me, are you okay, eventually they're just gonna bust in here I know, fine, I can do it, I'm opening the door, yes, I come out, she's still there, good, good girl. She leads me outside. I feel 10% better. I lead her straight to the van. We get in. I tell her to lay with me. Just like on the first night we met. Head spinning, chest heaving, completely exhausted, just lay with me. She asks are you okay and I say for the first time, no. No, I am actually not okay. I blame Adam Friedland. Overall rating: 4/10. Have Nick write your jokes or just stick to interviews.

I would not wish ill health or death on anyone, including my enemies, unless I was genuinely in mortal fear for my own life. But let's be straight about this. Politicians can post their deepest sympathies, families can insist they were “good boys”, and social media can produce all the usual excuses. None of that means the rest of us have to rewrite reality. Driving a car at high speed the wrong way down a motorway, knowing innocent people could be coming towards you at 120 km/h, isn't normal driving and it isn't some innocent mistake. It is an extraordinarily reckless decision that could have killed an entirely innocent family. Does that mean I think they deserved to die? No. Do I take pleasure in their deaths? No. But I'm also not going to pretend that people repeatedly involved in serious criminality are “little angels” simply because they're dead. If the newspaper reports about their previous activities and encounters with Gardaí are accurate, they were far from angels. They were thugs whose behaviour should have resulted in meaningful intervention long before things reached this point. And yes, I'll use another unfashionable expression: Live by the sword, die by the sword. Not because I'm celebrating anybody's death, but because repeatedly choosing extreme risk, violence and criminality eventually has consequences. Tragically, sometimes those consequences are irreversible. Maybe I'm getting old. Maybe I'm becoming intolerant. But when I was growing up, there were consequences for our actions. Thankfully my parents never hit me, but discipline existed. We got the rod in school I can still remember it drying beside the paraffin heater and the strap was used in secondary school, although I missed most of that. I'm not suggesting we start beating children again. But where exactly did we go from discipline and personal responsibility to being terrified of telling children NO? When did participation become more important than achievement? When did allowing children to run around shops and restaurants like little maniacs become enlightened parenting? When I was young, if you behaved like that, your parents dealt with you. You quickly learned that other people existed and that your behaviour affected them. Manners and respect are free commodities. When I hear children telling their own parents to “f*** off”, I wonder what they're going to be like as adults. If that's the respect they have for the people who brought them into the world, fed them, clothed them and cared for them, what respect are they going to have for a teacher, Garda, employer or complete stranger? Then we wonder why workplaces increasingly need chill-out spaces and “mental health days” because ordinary pressures become too much. In my day we respected our bosses, did the job we were employed to do and were happy to have a job. Yes, society has changed, and some of those changes were unquestionably for the better. But removing consequences wasn't one of them. And I'm going to use another expression that will undoubtedly upset people: Feral scumbags. Because when young people are repeatedly stealing cars, carrying knives or machetes, attacking people and terrorising neighbourhoods, I'm considerably more interested in protecting their victims than finding another fashionable euphemism for their behaviour. And yes, perhaps we need to discuss bringing back industrial schools. Before somebody deliberately misunderstands that sentence, I don't mean resurrecting the religious institutions, brutality or abuse associated with parts of that system. I mean the basic principle of removing persistent young offenders from the streets and putting them into secure residential institutions with discipline, education, vocational training and consequences. If you're 16 or 17 and repeatedly terrorising a community, perhaps knowing that you're facing several years in a secure institution followed by the adult criminal justice system if you continue offending after 18 might make you think twice. Because whatever we're doing now clearly isn't frightening some of these young offenders. Young lads can apparently parade knives and machetes on social media as though they're fashion accessories. Communities are terrorised. People accumulate conviction after conviction. And I have seen an example of the attitude I'm talking about with my own eyes. I had reason to attend court in Loughrea, Co. Galway, around this time last year. There were three young offenders in the dock, one of them flanked by two prison officers. I was sitting in the public gallery immediately behind the legal teams. When this individual spotted me, he apparently decided that making disparaging remarks about me would be great entertainment. He laughed. He jeered. It was all great craic. What struck me particularly was how relaxed the whole thing appeared. He was joking with the prison officers beside him and, from where I was sitting, they appeared to be laughing along with some of it. The judge lost patience with him on two occasions. It didn't appear to bother him in the slightest. I obviously cannot know what was going through his head, but the impression he gave me was that he believed he was untouchable. What stayed with me wasn't the insults themselves. I've heard considerably worse. It was the complete lack of respect for the court, the judge and everyone around him. When the court adjourned for lunch, I couldn't resist a little dig of my own: “Where are we going for lunch? I really fancy a steak. I wonder what the prisoners get?” That wiped away some of the laughter. His response was to start shouting abuse at me, including calling me a “f*ing f**t”. Charming. I walked away thinking that if somebody can stand in a courtroom, in front of a judge, flanked by prison officers, and still behave as though the entire proceedings are a joke, what exactly is supposed to deter him when he's back outside? I doubt that scene was unique to one courtroom in Galway. And everybody waits for the inevitable tragedy. Then, when it finally happens, politicians express shock and sympathy and everyone asks how this could possibly have happened. Perhaps we should start asking that question before somebody dies. Call me old-fashioned. Call me intolerant. Call me whatever you like. I believe in manners. I believe in respect. I believe in personal responsibility. I believe in rehabilitation. And I believe in consequences. Because allowing feral scumbags to terrorise communities without meaningful consequences isn't compassion. It's abandoning their victims and ultimately abandoning the offenders themselves. Live by the sword, die by the sword. It's an old saying for a reason.
