Telling a police officer to "call Tesla customer service" is diabolical.

Major Karen vibes. He basically asked for the manager during a traffic stop.

I knew I recognized that entitled, ungrateful, rude accent.

Officer started soft — 'a little fast' — that's cop language for 'I might let you go.' The driver killed that chance the second he said 'talk to Tesla's customer service.' You just upgraded yourself from a warning to a ticket

Tesla FSD Speed Profiles: Sloth — more conservative, often at or below the limit with fewer aggressive moves. Chill — slower lanes, minimal lane changes. Standard — normal speed, matching traffic flow. Hurry — faster with more frequent lane changes. Mad Max — more aggressive speeds and maneuvers. I bet that guy was on Mad Max mode 🤣🤣🤣

This absolute galaxy brain thought the cop would respond with "Oh, I see then. Alright, I'll call Elon and complain. On your way".

FSD lets you choose your speed profile, I just know he had it on Mad Max. 💀

He doesn’t sound like he’s from here. Maybe ICE should pay him a little visit?

If the Tesla driver is in auto-pilot they are 100% able to set the vehicle to SPEED. There are multiple different speed levels.

I’d give him a bigger ticket for being a retard. Tesla is awesome and I’d never blame FSD when it goes fast, that’s my choice and I love it

You can set the top end of the speed the car goes when you set it on autopilot. This guy is an idiot. The cop is correct.

It is people like this guy that ruin cool stuff for everyone. This guy is why there are “don’t eat the shampoo” warning labels. 🤡

Sounds like a 3rd worlder... They have about as much accountability as the average foid does. The driver can set the speed of autopilot, and so the driver is responsible.

There should be an IQ test in order to own a Tesla. People below 100 IQ should be legally barred from it.

as someone that love tesla fsd, glad the officer put him in his place. The software knows the speedlimits and won't go way over it, so this guy is just lying.

64 in a 45 mph speed limit. From experience that cop was doing him a favor by not giving him a criminal ticket.

That’s why it’s “supervised” FSD. It’s your job as a driver to maintain control of your vehicle. This guy is a complete moron.

Cop should’ve asked him who pressed the buttons to make it go?

When the guy kept saying he wanted a supervisor there, right then, it reminded me of what my dad would say whenever I said I wanted something - "well, want in one hand, and shit in the other. See which one fills up quicker."

For none Tesla users. Autopilot is just like Cruise Control. This dude has full control of the max speed. Full Self Driving (FSD) is the one that actually drives itself.

There is a reason it’s called Full Self Driving (Supervised). The “Supervised” means the person in the driver’s seat is responsible to supervise the control of the vehicle.

An adult should take responsibility of his/her failure. Autopilot assists, it doesn’t take the ticket for you. Dude still owns the speeding.

Pulling a man over for a measly 9 mph violation? This cop clearly has an unofficial ticket quota to fill and nothing better to do. Sad.

I mean, if it’s the cars fault…. Tow it to the impound & leave him on the side of the road. 🚨🚔🚨

Tesla is very explicit on this. When operating full self-driving, it require you to supervise the machine. You can't delegate that away. Sometime in the future, the car may be designated as not requiring a human operator, but that is not today.
