Nader Khalil🍊 explains all the hottest emerging AI trends in one demo: AI applications in 2026 will be multi-model, multi-modal, hybrid cloud/local, use open source models as well as proprietary models, control robots and embedded devices in the physical world, and have voice interfaces. (And the demo had a cute robot *and* a cute dog. Gold.) The demo was built with Pipecat AI. NVIDIA posted a really nice technical walk-through and complete code. The Reachy Mini robot from Hugging Face is open source hardware. (You can order it now, I have one!). You can run the assistant locally on your own hardware, in the cloud, or both.

It is made entirely with AI, and although it is not perfect, it still has some inconsistencies, it is a demonstration that with the tools available it is possible to create an animated short film that is almost professional and worthy of competing in a film festival. The script is made with ChatGPT, based on Coraline. The images in Midjourney, using the --sref and --cref parameters. Animations in Runway, music and sound effects in Pixabay, voiceover in , and editing in CapCut. 👉 I won't deny that it takes hours of work and requires dedication and artistic insight, but the important thing is that now anyone can create a short film from home. My Latest AI short was made with Seedance 2.0 the model that has been firing up the internet over the past couple of days. I made this in two and half days and it's an original short that is based on HP Lovecraft's work which is now Public Domain (No Copyright infringement here!). If you are not into period romances then bare with it as it gets a more little action packed in the second half! The model is brilliant at both performance and action, you can now make convincing dialogue and action sequences for AI cinema. With this model we have now reached the stage where we can tell any story we want with AI, the tools are capable. This is only 720p at the moment but I suspect it will be upgraded to 1080p very soon. We stand at the threshold of having broadcast quality tools capable of creating anything we can imagine available to everyone, so lets do new an interesting things with it. Thank you to CapCut for whitelisting me and to Dreamina AI AI for giving me access as part of their CPP. Thanks for watching! 👀

Kipp Popert will become the first ever golfer with cerebral palsy to compete in a full International Series event on the Asian Tour as he tees it up in the LINK Hong Kong Open tomorrow. “It means a lot. I am grateful to Hong Kong Golf Club for the invite. I want to achieve a lot in this game. I want to encourage the next generation of disabled golfers to dream big and provide them with opportunities that were not available to myself. The best way I can do that is by playing good golf - I’m excited to get to work.” Kipp won the DP World Tour’s G4D Tour Championship last week making history by winning 4 G4D events for the season. He also did a remarkable double to win the US Adaptive Open and The G4D Open which took his G4D major tally to 3, with 15 total wins in his short career. Having the opportunity to compete in this event alongside top stars like Justin Rose, Tom Kim, Patrick Reed and Martin Kaymer will be awesome for him. Kipp is taking G4D golf to new levels of performance and I’m looking forward to seeing how he gets on at Hong Kong Golf Club. Asian Tour International Series
