This isn't tenant power, it's economic illiteracy on display. Rent controls and "tenant leaders" have failed everywhere they've been tried look at NYC's housing shortage. Prioritising "love" over supply and incentives just makes apartments scarcer and more expensive for everyone.

Without evictions, landlords would go broke, and Mamdani will confiscate their property.
