As a kid I watched a lot of musicals on tv. (As IFB we didn't go to movies.) For years I waited, expecting folks to break out into song and dance. At 73 I'm becoming somewhat disillusioned.

I don't remember it that way. He was on the weekend update regularly but I don't think he was in a lot of sketches. Unlike all the other cast members, I don't think he really liked doing them. However, almost all of his sketches are memorable, imo. Norm was the best

He was a regular castmember, was in more than we realize, just not like reoccurring character type stuff
