Is this good or bad parenting? 🤔

Making your children fear you is not good parenting. They won't trust you and they will keep secrets. As soon as they are able they are going to fly the coop and probably never speak to you again.

When I was growing up... my parents would just shut the breaker off in my room... or take my console power cord. This is staged drama. And that was a clean bedroom.

bad parenting. just take the electronics out of the room dont use a bat man... pieces can hit your kids.. no need to hurt em

fake for the tiktok.. people are weird posting this on tiktok. If its real then thats even worse lol.

Or just take it away and make them earn back the items with chores. Breaking makes you look like an idiot.

Stupid parenting. Smashed $200 worth of stuff at least.

I think it’s good parenting he’s punishing them without physical contact

All this does is teach your kids to be destructive.

Being a good parent is one of the hardest things to do. You're never gna win a popularity contest, you'll always seem like the enemy. But, the reward if you are successful, is unmatched. You always have to keep in mind what kind of people you're putting out in this world.

That guy is getting tossed straight into an old folks home one day

nah. Just take everything out and lock it up. "All you get is what I'm legally required to provide. No toys, no tv, no treats, nothing. Y'all wanna act like convicts, y'all gonna live like convicts." They get 3 hots and a bunk, and 3 changes of clothes. Anything else they earn

It’s a skit clearly an old PS4 - also a shit TV probably got an upgraded Ps5 and a new TV this is just a show…… I’ve seen so many of these gay videos just for a reaction

I would have beat the fuckin shit out my dad if he did that too me.

When you watch a video, place yourself somewhere else in the room and image someone holding the camera. what do you see? A show. Its made to be seen. Fill in your own conclusion after that. But always make note of the camera and who could be holding it, kills the illusion.

I mean.. you could have just removed it from the room rather than needing to buy another $120 worth of just controllers.. remove it all from the room, and still make them do chores to slowly earn it back?

Terrible parenting. These kids won't grow up disciplined but fearful and resentful. They will have that feeling of revenge and rebellion that can ruin their lives in long term.

It is stupid parenting because he will still be buying a new tv and controllers. Why not just take it all away. The same thing is accomplished.

Id be careful bro, look at the wall of firearms! 😂

Fake, try again, next time don't show a kids room that is immaculate, and to say he's lazy, it doesn't hold water.

That father will be dealing with the emotional and psychological damage he's inflicted on his kids for the rest of his life. Sheer stupidity.

Bad parenting, the violence is a major issue. But it also does not teach the lesson to value property. That is a grown man having a temper tantrum.

It’s close to good. The bad part is instilling in the children that you can break things to get what you want, it’s not good long term strategy, since the kids will grow up and think, if I break stuff, I will get what I want. You can just remove them, put them in a box with a lock for a set period of time and put an agreement in place on how things will be for the next 14 days, should they not comply with it at any point, 14 days becomes 30, if not again, 60 etc…

He will be paying thousands in therapy when he grows up. So I was there in room playing my video game and had a bat, at first I thought he was going to hit me with it. Then he smashed our small TV. Then I have to be working to pay off something he broke

Waste of money is what that is, just disconnect it all and put it away til they do what's needed. And stop sharing this corny shit on social media...

Stupid, he should have just unplugged it all and put it away. Dang boys....

No clothes on the ground, room is very well kempt, has wall fully organized of nerf guns, no toys or nothing lying on the ground… but an instance of not doing chores during the day warrants a father to start destroying things in his sons room? That’s not parenting…

Habits start small. Look at the wall of perfectly collected nerf guns. Everything starts small and parents spoil kids to show how successful and responsible they are. They do this crap for clicks to show how good at tough love they are. It's all a show. Loads of debt, loads of games.

This is completely staged. Someone was already in the room ahead of him filming this? Come on. Also, you tell me what small kid wouldn’t be borderline or even full-blown hysterical if they’d just watched their TV/gaming remotes get smashed. They barely made a sound. It’s fake.

Perfect coincidence the camera man was rolling and completely calm. This fake crap is so annoying

$100 ps3 slim and a $40 shitty T.V. This fake as fuck.

Three 60 dollar controllers. 180 dollars wasted. 100 bucks, give or take, for the tv. 280 dollars wasted. The kid's room looks clean. Shit, his wall of nerf guns is immaculate. What did he do. Forget to open yer beer? Bad parenting. Other ways to do this without wasint money.

@Geniustechw Teaching your kid that violence wins? .... just take it away, that simple.

Depends, is this the kids first warning or has the dad had to correct this behavior over and over and over? Sometimes a child needs a heavy consequence to get the point through their thick damn skull.

Not good. Just teaching violence is acceptable.

Here let me destroy the things I paid for… Duuuuuuuu-ooooiiiieeee
