CSS in 2024 🤯 You can create a range slider with updating value tooltip and color changing track without using any JavaScript 🤯 ::-webkit-slider-thumb{ view-timeline: --thumb inline; } Scroll animation on the slider thumb that animates a number between the "min" and "max" of the range 😅 @property --value { syntax: ' '; } @keyframes sync { to { --value: 100; }} Tie that up to the contain animation-range ⚡️ .control { animation: sync both linear reverse; animation-timeline: --thumb; animation-range: contain; } Hoist the view timeline so the tooltip can use the value too! :root { timeline-scope: --thumb; } Then use it in the counter which goes in the tooltip 😇 .tooltip { counter-reset: val var(--value); } .tooltip::after { content: counter(val); } Then the accent color is based on the value too 🎨 [type=range] { accent-color: hsl(var(--value) 90% 65%); } The magic from the quoted post is using anchor positioning on the range thumb to position that tooltip 👏 Never thought of that when working on the spec for this API. This API lets you tether elements to other elements. Using the pseudo is a clever move! ::-webkit-slider-thumb { anchor-name: --thumb; } .tooltip { position: absolute; anchor-default: --thumb; left: anchor(50%); bottom: calc(anchor(top) + 25%); } The last piece is the little bounce transition... OK. I used a line or two of JavaScript for that 🙏😬 const updateDelta = ({ movementX }) => { document.documentElement.style.setProperty('--delta-x', movementX) } document.body.addEventListener('pointermove', updateDelta) But only so you can pass the movement delta to CSS and then reset the position with linear() to get that bouncy transition 😎 .hint { rotate: calc(clamp(-60, var(--delta-x) * -1, 60) * 1deg); transition: rotate 1s linear( 0, 0.2178 2.1%, 1.1144 8.49%, ... ); } Should probably do a video on this one. Lots of little tricks to break down with it for sure! 💯 As always, any questions, let me know! Also, this one only works in Chrome Canary with the Experimental Web Platform Features flag enabled ✅ This one almost feels like rocket science ha 🚀 CodePen.IO link below! 👇

CSS Tip! 🤯 You can create a CSS-only version of this balance slider using a scroll animation on the underlying input[type=range] 🚀 ::-webkit-slider-thumb { view-timeline: --thumb inline; } Scroll animation driven by the slider thumb animates a number between the "min" and "max" of the range 😅 @property --value { inherits: true; initial-value: 0; syntax: ' '; } @keyframes sync { to { --value: 100; }} Tie that up to the contain animation-range ⚡️ .control { animation: sync both linear reverse; animation-timeline: --thumb; animation-range: contain; } Hoist the view timeline so all the parts of the control can use it! .control { timeline-scope: --thumb; } Use that value in a counter which is used for the labels. Create a low and a high for each side 😇 .control__label { counter-reset: low var(--value) high calc(100 - var(--value)); } .control__label::before { content: "COFFEE " counter(low) "%"; } .control__label::after { content: counter(high) "% MILK"; } That's the magic of updating the label values ✨ For the big track, it's a fake track. You can make use of the same --value property and do some calc() to work out the width of each part. .control__track::before { width: calc(var(--value) * 1% - 0.5rem); background: var(--coffee); border-radius: 4px; transition: width 0.1s; } The width leaves a little gap for the indicator piece 🤙 The color calculation for --coffee isn't too wild but again you can use the same --value .control__track { --coffee: hsl(24 74% calc( 24% + (30% * ((100 - var(--value, 0)) / 100)) / 1 ) / 0.4); } Now for the last piece. Making the track change height. You could set up another custom property and animate its value using the --thumb timeline too 🔥 @property --shift { initial-value: 0; inherits: true; syntax: ' '; } @keyframes shift { 0%, 31%, 61%, 100% { --shift: 0; } 32%, 60% { --shift: 1; } } Then use that --shift to update the translation of the label and height of the track 🤓 .label { transform: translateY(calc(var(--shift) * 50%)); transition: transform var(--speed) var(--timing); } Cool part here is that you can use the control to work out the @keyframes percentages 😅 Oh. And the timing for that little bounce? Use the linear() function 😎 :root { --timing: linear( 0, 0.5007 7.21%, 0.7803 12.29%, 0.8883 14.93%, 0.9724 17.63%, 1.0343 20.44%, 1.0754 23.44%, 1.0898 25.22%, 1.0984 27.11%, 1.1014 29.15%, 1.0989 31.4%, 1.0854 35.23%, 1.0196 48.86%, 1.0043 54.06%, 0.9956 59.6%, 0.9925 68.11%, 1 ); } Should probably do a video on this one. Lots of little custom property tricks for sure! 💯 It's not too far off the range slider with the tooltip that came up previously As always, any questions, let me know! Also, this one only works in Chrome currently ✅🥲 This one's a bit rocket science ha 🚀 CodePen.IO link below! 👇

How I turn my templates into real landing pages. Works for any vibe coding platform or site. This is my full guide. I start with Gemini 3. I copy the HTML code and paste to Cursor/v0/lovable and prompt "Create a new landing page /page-name using this design but adapted to {site_name}. Replace the header and footer with the ones from my site. Adapt the whole page, keep everything: {HTML_code}" Details that can to be adapted or improved: Fonts: "Use {font_name} Google font for headings and {font_name} for body text." Icons: "Use Iconify {icon_set} icons" Colors: "Change primary color to blue. Everything else should be monotone." Bonus: "Make the outlines subtle" for a cleaner design. Animation intro/on scroll: "Animate when in view observed, fade in, slide in, blur in, element by element. Use 'both' instead of 'forwards'. Don't use opacity 0." Static to animated: "Animate details with {animate_type} and decorations.". Example types: line, beam animation, noodles, grid, sonar, etc. Background animation: "Apply the background animation using Unicorn Studio {animation_code}" Details to make your layout stand out: "Add vertical container-size lines. Add 01 02 03 number details." Stand out from generic-looking: "Make this more upscale with large tall fonts, Newsreader font and black and white agency". Adapt content: "Adapt the content to {copy and paste site texts}". Buttons: "Change main button to {code}. Add a 1px border beam animation around the pill-shaped button on hover." Adding sections like testimonials: "Adapt a new section after {section} using this code: {component code}". You can copy the code from Codepen, 21st dev or Aura. Responsiveness: "Make this responsive. Add a hamburger menu for mobile. Hide this {element} for mobile." Making forms work: "Make the form send an email to {your_email}". Payments: "Link the buy button to {LemonSqueezy payment link}". I use composer-1 for quick fixes. I finish with Claude Opus 4.5 for code reviews "Please review the code for performance and robustness". The template HTML code should give you a blueprint for all these, but I think it's important to keep iterating for your specific site.

If you’re wondering why the best hitters in the world can’t hit (.250) here’s your answer. PARALYSIS by ANALYSIS MLB hitters used to jump in the cage and take some swings trying to get right simply through repetition. You would hear hitting coaches say things like “Stay back” or “Keep your front shoulder in” or “Use your hands”. These guys have been playing most of their lives and they wouldn’t be where they are if they weren’t good at it. But in today’s #mlb every swing has to be measured using technology and broken down to try and figure out how it can be perfected. For a century and a half we’ve seen players with a variety of different swings be successful hitters and no one seemed to care how they did it. We just loved that they did! We love baseball because it’s the only sport where you don’t have to be a genetic freak to be a great player. We’ve seen 5’6” players win MVP’s and overweight un athletic looking players excel and we loved it because it gave hope to the masses that they had a chance. We’re removing the human element from our National Pastime and that’s the part we loved the most. #shegone Not Gaetti Bob File Tony Wuench Bill Dubs Randy Johnson Slider Domination Sinker Slider Jonah Artiles ROX ARROYO 𓂀 إسرافيل Matt Stark Just Craig Greg Jacobs 🇺🇸 🥎⚾️ 🇮🇹 Jerry Hairston, Jr. Will Clark Doug Mientkiewicz Gary Bennett Derek Holland Gregg Olson Mike Piazza

Here are some tips for those who want to practice face acting: ➡️U motion: Move your head in a "U" Shape so it's never stuck in the same place. This will help your movements look more interesting. ➡️Key points: When practicing with your model, learn to get to a "Key point." This is when you can automatically get to an expression without using toggles. I use surprised and angry expressions a lot, so I know exactly how to move my face to achieve that look, mainly for clips or comedic effect. I practiced enough so I know what it will look like on the model. ➡️Head tilts: If you struggle with face acting, a simple head tilt will go a long way. Overall, the movement and face acting of your model does matter. It can help it look more interesting, but also, it's okay if you can't face acting all the time. Using just key animations when you're gaming will work perfectly. Example: You died in a game, and you go to the key point of surprise. You know, making this face will make your model look shocked, so you will do a dramatic eye open and mouth agape to achieve this, to reflect onto your model. Lastly. The way your model moves is usually 30% rigging artist,20% tracking (webcam/iPhone), and 50% you. Your rigging artist can give you the tools, but only you can make your models' results reflect your emotions. As always, DO YOUR PARAMETERS AND SETTINGS IN VTUBE STUDIO. It will not be perfect to your face and camera settings unless you adjust the model, (This is an old video I did on parameters) Holy Yapfest.

Brett Wichrowski Brett Wichrowski Acquired: 2023 13th round selection Measurables: 6’2”, 177 lbs, 21 years old Cliff Notes: The Brewers picked the Junior out of Bryant who had steadily improved over his NCAA career last year. By his junior campaign, Wichrowski posted a 4.50 ERA and 64 Ks/25 BBs in 50 innings pitched. He also has steadily added velocity in his offseasons (with Baseball Performance Center), which he showed off in the Spring Breakout series sitting 99 mph. In the Spring Breakout game he went 2 IP with zero earned & one strikeout plus in his outing in Big League Camp he went one scoreless, facing three batters with a K. His mix appears to have a 4-seam and 2-seam fastball with secondary offerings of a cutter, slider, and change-up. All look relatively effective playing off his fastballs, with the cutter jumping out of his hand and slider/change-up being effective enough off of his velocity. With his experience in NCAA baseball, the New England Collegiate Baseball League and the Cape Cod League, I would not be surprised if the Brewers start him in at least A ball. Wichrowski played three seasons at Bryant where he progressed as one would expect. His sophomore campaign was across 38 innings where he posted a 5.21 ERA, 37 Ks, and a high 30 BBs. His Junior season he demonstrated serious improvements, giving up less earned runs on average as well as upping his K rate while decreasing his BB rate. He rode that good season into being a Brewers Draft Pick. I look forward to seeing how the Brewers deploy the righty in the minors. As mentioned above, in the Spring Breakout game he was topping out at 99 mph. He uses that speed when throwing both of his fastballs, while his cutter is about 10 mph slower and effectively horizontally cuts due to his excellent extension. His slider is another nice option for glove-side movement, while he continues to work on his change up. His college walk rates/WHIP are something that are of concern, but more time in the Brewers organization should help him control his offerings better. His multiple plus offerings give Wichrowski a great chance to be an MLB contributor as long as he can improve control (which he showed in his Spring Breakout & Spring Training outings) He is definitely a guy to keep an eye on in 2024 and I could see him gaining transaction on some prospect lists. Auditioning is a completely different performance than how you’d perform it when you get the job. Most actors don’t realize that. What do I mean? In an audition, I only have 1 set up, 1 frame from the chest up. On set you’ll have multiple set ups and multiple camera lens sizes. So for example if I have to do a very explosive emotional scene for an audition I’m beholden to that one set up which is the chest up how casting likes it. BUT if I’m too big and too emotional for that frame size it might come off as melodramatic/Over-acting or I’m forcing it. So I have to do a little less. Now on set during the master I can be as big and as ferocious as I want and then dial it down as the camera moves in closer. The same goes if it has to be small and intimate scene, I might have to project a bit more to convey that emotion in an audition where if it was on set that close up sees everything and I can be as small an intimate as I want. So during these auditions you’re predominantly handcuffed to the size of the frame that casting wants. I like to be subtle in auditions and sometimes that can look like you’re doing absolutely nothing and its not as engaging for the audition process. (You’re trying to get a job) So I amp it up 10-20%. Again, where as on set I can be as small and subtle as I want and when they move in on your close up it sees the minutia of every detail that your face and eyes make. (Also in an audition you’re acting with a friend or a family member who might not be an actor. No professional makeup or hair, bad lighting, dog barking, cat meowing, fedex guy ringing your bell, etc etc) So to recap… AUDITIONING SUCKS!🤦🏻‍♂️ #kidvicious🔪

TITANIUM DIOXIDE...The Neurotoxin Infiltrating Over 11,000 Products. Nanoparticles Penetrate & Cross The Blood Brain Barrier, Causing Brain Neurodegeneration. FDA Legalized Toxin That Harms DNA, Liver, Kidneys, Spleen & Intestines. Banned As A Carcinogen In Other Countries... Titanium dioxide is an ingredient found in a wide array of products, including sunscreens, cosmetics, supplements & toothpaste as a white pigment & UV filter, and in many foods like candies, chewing gum, packaged foods, dressings & creamy dairy products to enhance white color. Originally used in paints, plastics & paper for its bright white color & opacity. A highly volatile chemical that should have never been added into foods to be ingested. Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) nanoparticles cause genetic damage, including DNA strand breaks & chromosomal damage, inducing epigenetic changes like DNA methylation. These effects cause oxidative stress & inflammation, leading to genotoxicity & increase in cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classifies TiO₂ as carcinogenic to humans. Due to this, the European Union banned the use of titanium dioxide (E171) in food & dietary supplements in 2022. Titanium dioxide is listed on food labels in the United States as artificial color, color added, colored with titanium dioxide & also E171. It is not always listed by its specific name & can also appear as part of the ingredient list under these vaguer terms, making it more challenging for consumers to identify its presence in a product. Organs Harmed By Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticles: Titanium dioxide nanoparticles harm multiple organs, primarily through accumulation, oxidative stress, inflammation & cellular damage. Lungs: A significant concern, with studies finding lung inflammation, pulmonary fibrosis & tumor development. Gastrointestinal Tract: When ingested, titanium dioxide nanoparticles cross the intestinal barrier, causing intestinal inflammation, tissue damage & disruptions to gut microbiota. Studies show increase of intestinal lesions. Liver: The liver is a major organ for nanoparticle accumulation, metabolism & excretion. Exposure causes liver damage, including inflammation, oxidative stress & necrosis. Kidneys: Nano-Titanium accumulates in the kidneys & impairs renal function, leading to inflammation & tissue damage, hematuria & nephritis. Spleen: As part of the immune system, the spleen is sensitive to foreign particles. Titanium nanoparticle exposure causes accumulation, inflammation & cellular damage in the spleen, which leads to impaired immune function. Brain: After crossing the gut barrier, nanoparticles traverse the blood-brain barrier. Nano-Titanium damages neurons & leads to neurotoxicity by causing oxidative stress. Reproductive System: Nano-Titanium accumulates in reproductive organs, causing damage to ovaries & testes, affecting fertility by lowering egg & sperm viability & disrupting hormonal balance. 👇Neurotoxicity Of Titanium Dioxide👇 👇Titanium Dioxide Induce DNA Damage👇 👇Nano Titanium Dioxide Harms Organs👇 Speaker: Dr Jeffrey Barke, MD
