These funds are not just for decoration- they are intended to help them improve their livelihoods and increase their income. With the peace we enjoy in Uganda, no one should remain idle. It is vital for everyone to create wealth. I urged the youth to engage in the four sectors we have often discussed: commercial agriculture, industry, services, and ICT. These are the pathways to transformation. The government is ready to provide capital through initiatives like Emyooga, the PDM, and Ghetto SACCOs. However, capital without the right mindset is ineffective. It is high time our people woke up, participate in the money economy, and move away from mere survival tactics.
