It is deeply concerning and unacceptable for an individual employed in a taxpayer-funded position to seek court injunctions against crucial government projects. These initiatives are not only intended to empower the youth but also provide sustainable livelihoods and alleviate the healthcare burden for Kenyans. Such actions hinder progress and...

It is also deeply concerning and unacceptable for a Government employed and funded by Hard working Kenyan taxpayers to assume that all Kenyans are Homeless and thereby force a tax in the form of Housing Levy.

Hapa hakuna kitu muhimu umesema, mheshimiwa. You're saying Kenyans tukae hivyo tu kama London without challenging government projects that don't make sense?

How Ichungwa see kikuyus 👇 What reasoning is this kimani? It's taxpayers crying due to overtaxation. Differentiate govt projects & greed, housing levy is not a govt project development but greed. You are an accountant, housing is a demand (income) problem so create employments

I dismissed this affordable housing nonsense long ago. You people have interest in it and it is not to uplift people living in slums. I would wish you would use the same vigour in building industries or create conducive environment for private citizens to do so.

Statement on the Assault and Arrest of Barrister Tamfu I am deeply concerned and outraged by the recent events involving Mr. Tamfu, a respected Advocate of the Cameroon Bar Association residing in Douala. While courageously defending his client against an illegal arrest, Barrister Tamfu was brutally assaulted by gendarmes. The brazen and arrogant manner in which these officers attacked him, undeterred by the presence of cameras, is alarming and unacceptable. Lawyers serve as the voice of the voiceless and are the last bastion for the protection of citizens' rights. If a Barrister can be publicly brutalized, it raises grave concerns about the direction in which our society is headed. When those entrusted with upholding the law become perpetrators of violence, it undermines the very foundation of justice and erodes public trust. Mr. Tamfu is currently hospitalized at the Laquintinie Hospital in Douala, recovering from the injuries sustained during this appalling incident. I call for immediate and decisive action against the gendarmes involved. It is imperative to hold them accountable, not only to seek justice for Barrister Tamfu but also to restore faith in our legal system. Our country is at a critical juncture, and it is crucial that we reaffirm our commitment to the rule of law. Swift and transparent measures must be taken to address this incident and prevent future occurrences. I urge the relevant authorities to act promptly to ensure that justice is served and to rebuild trust within our community.
