Very emotional #Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz after today's game ⤵️ QB Brady Cook got injured, went to the hospital, came back and won the football game... "For all the criticism that young man takes, 12 sure would die on the field for everybody." I asked Coach Drink more about it: "He told the team that in the hospital he realized I only got two and a half games left at Faurot Field. There's no way I'm spending it here in this hospital."

Luka dad about Luka injury and how it stopped him psychologicaly from playing at his best in his debut. "Of course there was psychological thing there because of that injury, there was fear in his head 'what if injury can reappear', but after the game he had a big relief, so after the game he was very happy." Spencer Petras started 31 games for Hawkeye Football, then stayed to coach in 2023 after a major shoulder injury. After an all-MWC season for USU Football, Petras threw to his old Iowa teammates at Monday's Pro Day. Kirk Ferentz on the QB who's "just a really exceptional guy."

Brady Tkachuk (left) was one of the players helping JBD off the ice after his injury. “There’s probably a million thoughts that go through his head at a time like that. I just wanted him to let it all out and it sucks. I just want to be there for him. There’s not really a right thing to say in that time. I think when we were going off the ice everybody was just kind of around and offering support.” #Sens

eunwoo said that for the past month or two, everyone around him (his managers, family, friends) had been acting ‘like that,’ and it felt like he was the only one who was okay with it, since he had to go anyway. but reality finally hit him today after shaving his head 😭

Not quite sure what was said earlier in the week from UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor about USF's roster and "payroll," but Alex Golesh did not like it and voiced his displeasure after tonight's win.

The power of a grandmother's prayers... Here's the story of a young man I met who had come to the end of himself after a night of partying that landed him in the hospital. It was his wake-up call — he knew he needed to get right with God. The next thing he asked for was his grandmother's Bible. Watch the rest of the story here.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert on having HC Jim Harbaugh's support for his trip to Europe with Madison Beer: "He's the man. To have his support, that's why everyone supports him. He's done such a great job with all his teammates, all the players that he coaches. That's why everyone loves him." Herbert said Europe was fun and that he appeciated the buildings in France. "It was just different. It was just cool to see. Definitely something you dont see very often over here. It was just cool to see different experiences."

Missed this earlier, but C.J. Ham essentially confirms here that he's retiring after 10 seasons with the Vikings, saying it's time for him to be with his family. What a run for the former UDFA from Augustana. Phenomenal football player and human being.

I’m not even mad after that game. Not upset, either. It was the ultimate clarity. James Franklin cannot be the head coach of this football program any longer.

Jamal Shead on playing against his former teammate Davion Mitchell tonight: “It felt like training camp last year.” “I learned so much from him in the 3 or 4 months that he was here, that I wouldn’t be in this position I’m in right now, without him.” “I just took what I could from him while he was there. It was really helpful that I got to be his backup as soon as I got to the league.”

Yejun said that he suddenly got GERD that it's even hard for him to sing nowadays since his throat always felt sour, his food always went up when he ate because of the gerd so he went to the hospital last week, the doctor told him that he would be fine if he took medicine, he said he felt better now after taking it 🥺 he didn't really drink coffee as well so it wouldn't trigger the gerd
