It would genuinely surprise me if Rockstar introduced dynamic world progression in RDR2 only to leave it behind in GTA 6. Personally, I’m fully expecting the map to evolve alongside the story. Imagine passing a construction site early in the game, then watching it gradually transform into a finished... skyscraper as the narrative unfolds. That kind of environmental progression would make the world feel incredibly alive. Rockstar has experimented with this idea before. In earlier GTA games, certain story missions permanently altered the map for example, destroying a building would leave its remains there for the rest of the game. RDR2 took that concept much further, with locations, buildings, and entire areas changing over time as the story progressed. Given Rockstar’s track record, it’s hard to imagine them not expanding on that system in GTA 6. They rarely abandon features that make their worlds feel more immersive, and with nearly a decade of technological advances and far more powerful hardware since RDR2, this feels like the perfect opportunity to push environmental progression even further.show more

Red Dead Redemption 2 had so many world encounters like this, as Rockstar aims to exceed everyone's expectations with GTA 6, its going to be insane how many more of these will be included in GTA 6. Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.

Before GTA VI: Remember how much more alive GTA V’s trailers felt compared to the final game. With all the excitement surrounding GTA VI, I recently went back and watched a comparison between GTA V’s trailers and the finished game. Some of the differences were genuinely interesting. What stood out most wasn’t the graphics, vegetation, lighting, or overall visual quality. In fact, in certain areas, the final game actually looked better than what was shown in the trailers. The biggest difference was the atmosphere. Many of the trailer shots made Los Santos feel incredibly alive, with NPCs behaving in ways that felt natural and believable. People seemed less like scripted game characters and more like real individuals simply going about their daily lives. That’s not a criticism of Rockstar at all. GTA V still went on to become one of the greatest and most successful games ever made. If anything, it’s a reminder that trailers are carefully directed and edited to create a specific mood, showcase the world at its best, and tell a compelling visual story. Lately, I’ve seen people dissecting every second of GTA VI footage—analyzing reflections, interiors, shadows, crowd density, and countless tiny environmental details from just a few brief clips. I'm always blown away by the fact that Rockstar Games casually made some of the best and most realistic water physics in 2008. GTA IV is the prime example of Rockstar Games focusing heavily on bringing realistic physics in a video-game. Everything from how a car handles, NPC ragdoll and water simulation in Grand Theft Auto IV was way ahead of its time and it even beats most of AAA games that we've seen these past few years when it comes to those game mechanics. Imagine how much ahead GTA 6 is going to be now that Rockstar Games has much more processing power to work with on current gen consoles

this is Zero. i was going to launch Zero 6 months ago, but decided not to. i felt if we launched too early, the team would get distracted. the product still had areas where i wanted to make the experience incredible, not just 'good'. Zero is more like a video game or movie, where the experience matters. it's not a tool, it's immersive. how people feel when they use it matters. it needed to be fast, feel real, and actually work. so instead of launching, we went heads down for 6 months to craft the best learning experience the world has seen. it has the best applied AI models, immersive experiences that feel like the real-world (like kick-off meetings, feedback walk-throughs, and real-time collaboration), and modern workflows that train people on how to use AI tools to make them more productive, rather than use them mindlessly as a crutch. it was a tough decision because my team put a ton of work into this video and wanted the world to see it. imagine, this was made 6 months ago! i'm super proud of my team for what they made, and i'm even more proud to finally share this with the world. so yea, this is Zero. this is the future of education. to join the beta, let me know in the thread.

We want Turkish subtitles support in GTA VI. Please Rockstar Games Rockstar Support As Turkish gamers, we have played every game developed and published by Rockstar Games studio with great excitement and made good reviews and comments for each games. We are among the top 4 and 5 countries worldwide that gave positive comments for GTA 4 and GTA 5 on STEAM. Similarly, the same goes for Mafia, another game brand owned by Take-Two. Turkey is the third and fourth country with the most positive reviews on Steam worldwide for Mafia D.E. and Mafia 2 Classic. But unfortunately, there is no Turkish language support in any Rockstar game. We, the gamers, do not ask for much. We just want to experience the new GTA game with Turkish subtitles in our own language and play it with understanding. If GTA 6 is released with Turkish subtitle support, one of the countries where it will sell the most will be Türkiye. I guarantee that. All our content producers, all our internet provider brands, all our artists, all our sports club fan pages and all our game media channels have joined hands on this issue on social media. We all shout out the same demand; #WeWantGTA6inTurkish Even very small budget independent studios have the courage to release games with millions of words with Turkish language support, and as a result, they are satisfied and release their future games in Turkish. Because we Turks give a lot of support to every game that has our language support. You are Rockstar Games. You are the pinnacle of the gaming industry, the biggest. I am sure that the cost of this is much lower for you. However, the happiness it will create is so great that we want to experience GTA 6 in our own language as a member of your family. Honest question, has any AAA game gotten close to providing the same level of realism when it comes to NPCs like Red Dead Redemption 2? Most open-world games that have come out recently are visually impressive, however NPC interactions always feel a generation behind RDR2. Its always good to see advancements when it comes to graphics, but I'd also like to see the same level of effort being put to systems that allow for more complex game mechanics like realistic NPC interaction, seamless random events which are in my opinion just as important as visuals. These things make a video-game feel more immersive and alive, its also the exact reason why its super easy to get lost in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 because of everything that happens around the world and the way NPCs react to your actions feels natural.

If we get to the May 21 earnings call with no update from Rockstar, then I’m hoping Strauss steps in with a solid confirmation that November 19 is locked in. Back in 2018, he publicly guaranteed RDR2 wouldn’t be delayed again, and that reassurance went a long way. I’m optimistic about November, but a definitive statement from Strauss would settle a lot of nerves. How confident are you right now about the November release?

A map with so much detail that it would be almost perfect if it weren't for the beings and some mythological lands. Although it was portrayed as a #FlatEarth, they converted it into the shape of a Globe. On this map you can clearly find #Tartary and the kingdoms that Great Tartary founded in America.

Alex from Digital Foundry is doubtful about GTA 6 Trailer 2 "Gameplay" aspect and what Rockstar Games means by it, he wouldn't allow other developers call it gameplay, because of the 20 by 9 aspect ratio? In my opinion, Its not like we haven't seen these cinematic style shot settings in previous R* Games like RDR2 which allowed you to hold the switch camera button to add black bars to your current Gameplay to make it more cinematic. I don't see how that changes the statement of "entirely in-game from a PlayStation 5, comprised of equal parts gameplay and cutscenes" if these shots are captured in a more stylish way to promote a Trailer Video

Hot Take: This is exactly what is wrong in Rockstar Game’s mission design. During this section in GTA V; I got stuck my vehicle between some rocks and I was trying to get it out As soon as I managed to get un-stuck, the Rockstar’s hand holding mechanism kicked in and the game decided it was a mission failed, prompting me to retry the mission. I don’t think these unnecessary mission failed screens should appear so often, especially in GTA VI. This is somewhat of an exaggeration but you get the point, sometimes just trying to take a different route or approach during a mission will get you the mission failed screen Recent Rockstar Games are rated M (GTA 6 too probably), so I don’t understand why Rockstar likes to treat gamers who play these games like children. Anyone with a logical brain will know that they’re stuck so they can pause the screen to restart from a checkpoint or destroy the vehicle to get the mission failed screen. I really hope that GTA VI offers more freedom for players when it comes to approaching missions and situation like these ones.
