It’s a common — and deeply concerning — sight on Indian roads and highways: broken-down vehicles left stranded, sometimes even in the fast lane, without any prior warning or hazard indication. This reckless scenario becomes especially dangerous at night, when visibility is low and drivers have little time to...

Highway patrol and administration is absent on roads. Once a tractor met with an accident on an MDR in UP and was left stranded on the road. Administration slept for whole night and day. Next night, one car hit the stranded trolley. Two lives lost.

The only thing not penalized is wrong lane driving and random lane shifting. AI tickets are only for speeding and not for wrong lane driving

Daylight Extortion on Wheels: Puncture Mafia Active Again in Hebbal–Goraguntepalya Stretch The infamous puncture mafia appears to be active once again in Bengaluru, this time targeting commuters on the Hebbal to Goraguntepalya road. A man travelling on this stretch noticed a large number of nails deliberately scattered on the road, especially along the left side. He personally collected several of these nails, which were clearly capable of causing tyre punctures, and showed them in his hand to warn others. This is not an accident or negligence it is a deliberate and dangerous scam aimed at forcing vehicles to suffer punctures so that nearby roadside repair shops can exploit stranded commuters. Such acts not only cause financial loss but also put lives at risk, especially in fast-moving traffic zones where sudden tyre damage can lead to serious accidents. The traveller who shared this warning has strongly advised other motorists, especially two-wheeler riders, to avoid using the left lane on this stretch until the issue is addressed. This area sees heavy daily traffic, and unsuspecting commuters, office-goers, and families are easy targets for this unethical practice. It is deeply concerning that despite repeated incidents over the years, such organised wrongdoing continues openly. Authorities must take strict action, increase patrolling, and conduct surprise checks on tyre repair shops in the vicinity. Citizens are urged to stay alert, drive cautiously, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the traffic police. Awareness is the first line of defence. Please share this information responsibly so more people can avoid falling victim to the puncture mafia and help make Bengaluru’s roads safer for everyone. Karnataka State Police S. Sunroof Shenanigans: Public Road Becomes Private Bedroom for Bengaluru Couple What is truly happening to people these days? In yet another bizarre and concerning incident, a young couple was caught on camera engaging in highly inappropriate behavior through the sunroof of a moving car on Bengaluru’s busy Trinity Road. The footage, which has now gone viral, shows the duo openly kissing and displaying excessive public affection all while the vehicle was in motion, drawing the attention and concern of fellow commuters and pedestrians alike. This reckless act took place under the jurisdiction of the Halasuru Traffic Police, raising not only questions about moral decency in public spaces but also serious concerns about road safety. It is both shocking and disheartening that such behavior is now being flaunted without any fear of consequences, as if public roads have become private lounges for attention-seeking stunts. Not only is this a blatant violation of traffic norms and decency, but it also poses a grave danger to the safety of everyone on the road. Engaging in such irresponsible acts inside a moving vehicle especially through a sunroof is a disaster waiting to happen. One wrong turn, a sudden brake, or a distracted driver could result in fatal consequences. Moreover, this kind of public display is not just disrespectful, it sets a very poor example, especially for younger viewers and children who may witness such acts in public. Freedom and modernity must never come at the cost of safety, decency, and mutual respect in a civil society. It’s high time that authorities take strict action against such reckless behavior and enforce traffic and decency laws more rigorously. Bengaluru is already battling congestion, poor infrastructure, and road safety challenges the last thing the city needs is a culture of careless stunts and irresponsible public behavior. #bangalore #bengaluru #couple ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್‌ BengaluruCityPolice ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ BengaluruTrafficPolice CP Bengaluru ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು Joint CP, Traffic, Bengaluru alok kumar DGP KARNATAKA ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ Karnataka State Police HALASURU GATE BCP S. KZN authorities hunt reckless driver after video sparks outrage: KwaZulu-Natal transport authorities have launched a manhunt for a reckless driver captured in a shocking video, as officials ramp up a zero-tolerance crackdown on dangerous behaviour on the province’s roads. MEC for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma, confirmed that the Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) is actively searching for the driver and his associates, urging the suspect to hand himself over. Members of the public with information have been called on to assist. The video has drawn widespread condemnation, with authorities saying the public backlash strengthens ongoing efforts to curb reckless driving. The latest incident comes despite a reported decline in road fatalities and crashes over the Easter and Passover weekend. Duma warned that intensified enforcement under operations such as #NenzaniLaEzweni and Operation Shanela will target reckless motorists, illegal street racers, and modified high-speed vehicles posing a threat to public safety. “Weekends should be about family time, not funerals caused by irresponsible driving,” Duma said, adding that social media will increasingly be used to identify and track offenders. Authorities have urged citizens to submit evidence of dangerous driving, vowing swift action against offenders across all sectors, including private motorists, taxi operators, and truck drivers. The RTI says the message is clear: reckless drivers will be found and removed from the road. WATCH:
