This is the reality Northern Ontarians face every day. A drive to work, school, or a medical appointment can become a life-or-death situation. We’ve introduced legislation to make Northern highways safer four times — and each time, Doug Ford and his government shut it down. Across the North, communities are grieving loved ones lost to collisions on these highways. Highway safety shouldn’t be partisan. The good people of Northern Ontario deserve highways that are safe, reliable, and properly maintained. Nothing less.

Daylight Extortion on Wheels: Puncture Mafia Active Again in Hebbal–Goraguntepalya Stretch The infamous puncture mafia appears to be active once again in Bengaluru, this time targeting commuters on the Hebbal to Goraguntepalya road. A man travelling on this stretch noticed a large number of nails deliberately scattered on the road, especially along the left side. This afternoon, we set up a roadblock on the Mountain Highway off-ramp, stopping vehicles that had snow on top of their vehicles. In just an hour, we pulled over about 45 drivers, gave them a friendly warning, and even lent them a brush to clear off their frosty rooftops. Friendly reminder: Leaving snow on your vehicle—including the windshield, windows, and roof—isn’t just a bad look, it’s a hazard for everyone on the road. Oh, and it could also land you a $173 fine. So, let’s keep it clean out there!

I’ve called Police on the spot to take legal actions against the driver. Btw the car was Tata Punch EV and luckily no injuries were caused due to the high safety rating. A police case has been filed against the reckless truck driver who was taking reverse and blocking a busy highway at dark night without any hazard lights, luckily there was no injuries to anyone.

On 20th May around 5:30 PM, I witnessed a serious and dangerous traffic violation on the Nashik–Pune MH48 highway. A driver was coming from the wrong side in the fast lane while I was driving at about 60–70 km/h. I had to suddenly control my car to avoid collision, and cars behind me were also in danger of crashing. Shockingly, instead of realizing his mistake, the driver signaled me to give him way, behaving as if he owned the road. His reckless actions could have led to a major accident or even fatalities. In my opinion, this is not just negligence it is a crime. If even one person had failed to react quickly, it could have resulted in a major accident. I believe this story deserves more attention, and I would be grateful if you could cover it in one of your awareness videos. These situations are becoming far too common, and we need public pressure to ensure strict penalties such as lifetime license cancellation and heavy fines for such dangerous driving. #driveresponsibly

Today along Mombasa Road, I witnessed several people ignoring a nearby footbridge and opting for a dangerous shortcut across the highway. While it may seem faster or more convenient in the moment, the consequences can be devastating. Footbridges are constructed specifically to protect lives, and using them should not be optional but a shared responsibility. We shall deploy our officers to arrest anyone who is found in violation of the law, especially those who avoid using the flyovers and instead opt to risk their lives by competing with vehicles an act that often leads to unnecessary accidents and loss of lives. Road safety is a collective effort drivers, pedestrians, and authorities all have a role to play. There is a need for increased public awareness, stricter enforcement of traffic rules, and a mindset shift among pedestrians to prioritize safety over convenience. Wow, Mad Max on the Cybertruck is such a great FSD profile. On the highway, it maintains a quick speed above 80 mph and effortlessly moves around traffic. One of my biggest complaints about FSD has been the speed the truck drives on the highway. It loved to keep me at 74 mph and sit in the left lane - causing fast drivers to pass me on the right. Shared by - Nirmeet I’m a resident of Mumbai currently based in Pune. I travel a lot on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and encounter many rash drivers, especially at night. I was travelling in a cab to Mumbai on 30th Oct at around 9pm when I noticed that the driver slowed down the car very abruptly, it was because of the driver of this red i10 who was visibly drunk. He was swerving lanes and almost crashed into us and another car. When we overtook him, he started driving even more dangerously and came ahead of our car started showing the finger and almost made us come to a halt. Luckily there wasn’t much traffic on that stretch of road and our driver was quite aware so we could get away from him. But his driving was highly dangerous and reckless. Shared by - Nirmeet I’m a resident of Mumbai currently based in Pune. I travel a lot on the Mumbai-Pune expressway and encounter many rash drivers, especially at night. I was travelling in a cab to Mumbai on 30th Oct at around 9pm when I noticed that the driver slowed down the car very abruptly, it was because of the driver of this red i10 who was visibly drunk. He was swerving lanes and almost crashed into us and another car. When we overtook him, he started driving even more dangerously and came ahead of our car started showing the finger and almost made us come to a halt. Luckily there wasn’t much traffic on that stretch of road and our driver was quite aware so we could get away from him. But his driving was highly dangerous and reckless.
