Here’s what’s coming: • Pothole Avoidance • Tesla is going to expand reasoning to all behaviors beyond destination handling. • Elon says an update is coming that gives the car the ability to learn and default to your preferred spots over time. You’ll also be able to select exact parking destinations. • Tesla is working on bringing voice controls to FSD in a couple of months. • V15 is expected sometime in late 2026 to early 2017. This will be the model with ~10B parameters (10x more than V14). The rate of improvement is only accelerating. Ultimately, the end goal is Unsupervised FSD in customer cars. Tesla says when it does rollout, it will happen gradually in approved geographies, which make sense.

In my experience, V14.3.3 is the worst parking version of FSD since parking was introduced to the stack (V14.1). In this clip, you can see that FSD has everything going for it. The new charging map is there, the open spot is as clear as day. As FSD begins its reverse, it straddles two spots, one of which is not a supercharging spot. It was gunning (very poorly) for the spot that wasn’t even a supercharger spot before I took over. I’ve been having it do stuff like this, attempt to back into spots with crossed lines that clearly aren’t parking spots, etc. don’t remember having this bad of an experience on any other 14 build

FSD V14.2.2.4 Cutting Through a Gas Station Parking Lot? I don't think I've ever seen FSD drive like this before, but on my drive this morning it happened twice in a row. Rather than proceed to the stop light, it cut into a gas station and drove through the parking lot, then did the same at the next intersection. Afterward, it pulled into a parking lot with "Do Not Enter" signs at the entrance and parked in a stall. The real issue is that I was navigating to a Tesla Supercharger nowhere near that parking lot.

Tesla FSD V14.3 first drive impressions: • Highway follow distance is more comfortable • Quicker take off from stop signs after coming to a complete stop • Highway lane change hesitation from previous versions seems gone for me • The navigation routes it takes are still sometimes confusing • It understood detour signs correctly on its way to a Supercharger, but got confused after with how to navigate to the Supercharger. It eventually figured it out. • For the most part, FSD does seem to be choosing parking spots closer to the designation, which is good, but I'm not noticing a big change in parking behavior overall. • Blinker activates later than previous version of FSD, a nice improvement • Speed profiles seem mostly the same Overall, I'm not noticing huge changes vs 14.2.2.5 in my first couple of drives, so I need more time with it. V14.3 does need some smoothening out, but I expect that with a bigger dot release like this. V14.3 feels like it's setting the stage for something larger to come, and that further reasoning capabilities will be added in future FSD updates.

The only time I need to disengage FSD is when reversing into my garage to charge. Hopefully now it’ll remember where and how I want to park. This could also help people with dedicated parking spots at work, etc. I can’t wait to try it out, I know a lot of people were waiting for something like this.

Reasoning is what really changed the game with FSD V14, and as they implement more of it, it’s going to be game over. Here’s a great example. FSD exits the parking lot of this coffee shop. If you zoom into the nav at the top right corner, you can see that it’s telling me to turn left (illegal to do so here). This has been a map error at this shop for a while. On all previous FSD versions, I’d disengage here as FSD would try to make the illegal left. With V14.2 reasoning, the car gathers context, understands it isn’t supposed to turn left here/ignores nav and triggers the re-route.

Trying to find a parking spot with FSD needs a lot of work. It kind of ruins the “magic” of never touching the wheel when driving. This might just be a Cybertruck issue, but this is where I hope future updates will address improvements the most.
