It's been an intense 10 months since we kicked off hardware engineering and I couldn't be prouder to have delivered a Pendant to our first customer along with Dan Siroker Alyssa Atkins Stammy! Very few hardware startups go from concept to customer that fast when using tooled mass production... show more

We have 6 different models of CNC machines already designed and validated for production but we would need crores to scale up production and offer it to other manufacturers. Hence, we only build machines for our own production facility. Capital is a bottleneck for us. Currently we just have a tiny space within our own factory which is our R&D lab. We are a team of mere three people. Scaling hardware isn’t easy but it’s something that must be done for us to truly be self-reliant. Really appreciate your efforts Sridhar Vembu to build these hardware tools here. We must build more factories and hardware products in the country. Long way to go before I sleep.

two weeks in Shenzhen and it’s an been eye-opening experience im here for a month with MIT SCALE and the speed of hardware production is easily 10× faster than sf. from product concept to production, everything is streamlined within a single building. Nearly every component you could need is available immediately thru Taobao(e bay of China) or HQB and there are 24/7 makerspaces equipped to build anything from micrometer-scale PCBs to full assembly-line robots. What’s striking is that Shenzhen already has much of the hardware and robotics that startups in sf are still trying to build except these systems have been deployed and operating for years. The manufacturing capability, supply chain depth, and technical execution here are world-class. That said, one gap keeps surfacing: brand design, storytelling, and cohesive user experience. Software polish, UX consistency, and attention to detail often feel secondary. Take this with a grain of salt, but it increasingly feels like the company that pairs Shenzhen-level hardware velocity with strong design sensibility and UX-first thinking will dominate the market.

#LCDJewel is finally making progress! New MCU with double buffered 60fps! MJPEG video playback and GameID are working. Redesigning the setting menus next. Hardware seems to be in good shape. A little bit of waiting for the ESP32-S31 to be in mass production, but the hardware finally is powerful enough.

I couldn't imagine living in a culture that just consisted of constantly trying to steal. It's a foreign concept to me, it seems to be the norm in this community. Should we have been forced to be segregated?

To go along with our release month, we have decided to showcase a bunch of new decorations throughout the month until release. For our first one we would like to show the Bushes from Mega Man 1 in a variety of seasonal colours along with some Napalm Grass from Mega Man 5. (1/2)

3 months ago, I graduated from Waterloo engineering. Instead of taking a job, I convinced 2 friends to quit their jobs and move to SF to bootstrap a robotics startup. Since then we've: - Built an autonomous delivery robot that pushes elevator buttons - Tested in condos & hotels - Raised our first check from Founders Inc. Now, we’re demoing our robots at 8 of the tallest residential buildings in SF Comment ELLY if you want a delivery robot in your building

Stoltenberg, ex secretary general of NATO: I believe that if we had delivered substantial military support to Ukraine from 2014, then at least we would've been able to help the Ukrainians to control much more territory today. We could have prevented a full-scale invasion. 1/

Update on LAT Aerospace Our first uSTOL technology demonstrator is ready. Today, we have a fully-electric, fixed-wing UAV, built from scratch and almost ready for flight. To make this possible in just a few months, we built our entire flight lab from scratch. Every bench, every tool, every fixture designed to push the aircraft closer to flight every single day. This aircraft is designed to takeoff in 40 meters (thanks to a massive CL of 5 which is more than 2x of what you see on most aircraft). Endurance of 60 minutes. With a range of being able to cruise autonomously from Mumbai to Pune. Ground rolls done. As I type this, we are pushing hard to get the bird in the air. Hopefully it doesn't blow up. Either way, I promise videos of our attempt sometime over the next few weeks. We have learnt so much over the last few months, and I am sure that there are a lot of hard learnings yet in store for us. Our research on hybrid-electric propulsion is already in full swing, and we’ve also started building a team to begin development on our own gas turbine engines. This is one of the hardest engineering challenges possible. Our team is relentlessly at it to make this a reality before the turn of this decade. In the blink of an eye, time flies really fast - Not only in the last few months but also since 2017... Fellow fighters have delivered excellent results by showing the West that we are the new Chinese who are a group of people opposed to the Communism and committed to promoting peace with other Nations. Remarkably, the knowledge and courage that everyone has put into action have been very professional and improving over time. The international community will soon witness a significant moment - The battle stage between the NFSC and CCP, which is coming ever closer. Everything will start with the congressional investigation into CCP No.1 Enemy, Mr. Miles Guo case, and it's going to be a long and deep process and people will realize that the most powerful Anti-CCP bill comes down to Mr. Miles Guo freedom, and it won't be long from now. The fact is CCP have used a massive amount of their moves to destroy the NFSC, which they can use as much as they want because Mr. Miles Guo is still able to step outside, regardless of the amount of cards they have tried and it will be much easier for him to counterattack against the CCP once they have wasted plenty of resources. Very soon, we will have the greatest opportunity to see the Anti-CCP plan a lot more detail that Mr. Miles Guo has been preparing for a very long time.

We’re in the big leagues now with regards to hardware ban cases. SCOTUS taking up Viramontes is fucking HUGE and we should all be excited and proud of how far we have come. Many of you (and us) have been waiting decades for the “semi-auto question” to be finally settled and we’re at the plate. LETS FUCKING GO.

Fake/impersonating accounts on X have plagued large accounts like mine for as long as I can remember. It's one of the biggest issues we face on X and this problem has been negatively affecting our followers for years now. Even worse, there there has been nothing we could actually do to combat it. Until now. In the last week alone, over 190 fake "Credibull" accounts have been identified, targeted, reported and taken down by my personal umanitek guardian agent. Each and every one of these takedowns has been anchored to the OriginTrail DKG (decentralized knowledge graph), with all evidence related to the takedown documented and stored on an immutable, verifiable context graph. Over the next few months I'll be actively tracking these takedowns with weekly updates on the takedown count and in the next week or so I'll be posting a long form article that breaks down the tech behind this much-needed solution. Stay tuned! There is much more to come.

Today World Health Organization (WHO) delivered trauma and emergency care supplies to European Gaza Hospital and Nasser Medical Complex in southern #Gaza to cover the needs of 4500 patients. So much more is needed. The very intense fighting is making it increasingly difficult to run any health operations. This was the first delivery mission since 29 November. Nowhere is safe. We are extremely concerned about thousands of patients, and health and care workers. The only way to protect them is a ceasefire. NOW.
