Long range plus multiple air jumps is the hardest pairing to balance in a platformer, because it lets a player skip the level's spacing. Tying Pulse to pickups and scrap gives Cable a reason to get close anyway. That is a smart way to keep the stages honest.

It's basically the inverse of Mega Man X, with the protagonist (Kai) specializing in melee combat and the secondary playable character added in a later game (Cable) guns down enemies from afar.

Most of the fixed radars in Crimea have been hit, together with tens of air-defense systems in southern and eastern occupied Ukraine. With Starlink connexion, Ukrainian FP-2 drones (the main ones being used for these strikes) can reach anywhere in occupied Ukraine, but also in the black sea and in coastal areas of Russia. However, this is the first time we see video feed of strikes against airbases and air-defense systems in Russia, where Starlink cannot be used. Been playing with a character consistency workflow again. This came from Nexora that starts with a single GPT Image 2.0 character sheet and turns it into a multi-shot cinematic sequence in Seedance 2.0. One thing I added to the workflow: I first comped the character, environment, and visual style together in Midjourney before bringing everything into GPT Image 2.0 to build the character sheet. I also pushed it a bit further by generating multiple characters, destinations, and art directions at the same time, then turning those into production-style character sheets and shot sequences. It's interesting how much consistency you can get from a single well-defined character board when the visual language, wardrobe, and environment are established upfront.
