Today, our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war once again reached the Dubna space communications center in the Moscow region. This is a special satellite communications facility used, in particular, for reconnaissance and for coordinating the activity of Russia’s occupation contingent in Ukraine. The distance from our state border to this facility is more than 500 kilometers. Recently, our Defense Forces of Ukraine already reached four such Russian centers, not only in the Moscow region but also in the Vladimir region. We have no right to name them – everything remains absolutely classified and will remain so for a long time. This is already a historic operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, one that was carefully prepared, and on this very day one year ago, it entered its final stage – striking Russian military equipment. Farther than Ukrainian long-range capabilities had ever reached before. As precisely as no one in Russia expected. And as justly as the enemy’s strategic aviation deserves. “Spiderweb” destroyed or at least damaged 41 aircraft. Today, I held a Staff meeting where we had in-depth discussions about the use of air defense systems and the protection of our cities and communities. Steps were identified to make the use of the systems we already have more effective. We are also working on securing additional protection for Ukraine. We are very much counting on the "Patriot" system that Romania is preparing to provide, and I will be grateful to Romania for this crucial support. This is something that will truly help our people, our country, and our entire region. We continue to work with all our partners to secure stronger support for our defense—especially long-range solutions that could destroy a significant portion of Russian ballistic missiles before they even launch. This is one of the key issues of this war. The issue of our long-range capabilities and the necessary approvals from our partners, as well as the long-range shells and missiles we could use, is critical. Russian strikes will become impossible if we have the ability to destroy the occupier's launch sites, military airfields, and logistics hubs where they are located. Granting Ukraine these approvals and providing us with this weaponry would be the biggest step toward a real, just end to this war. Russia simply doesn't know how to fight without terror—terrorist strikes and their ability to create destruction have replaced tactics and strategy for the Russian leadership in this war.

Today, there are new significant results from our deep strikes. In Russia’s Samara region, one of the key enterprises within Roscosmos – the Progress Center, which was involved, among other things, in electronics production – was hit. Flamingo missiles were used. A good achievement. The distance from our border is about 900 kilometers. Our long-range sanctions also reached the Savasleyka airbase, where the carriers of Russian missiles that strike our cities and villages are based – about 700 kilometers from Ukraine. We also have confirmation of the damage we were aiming to inflict at an oil facility in Ust-Luga – more than 800 kilometers from our border. I am grateful to all the units involved for their accuracy. Our plan of long-range sanctions against Russia for this war is being implemented, and it is important that Russia’s war potential be reduced. Peace is needed, and this must be evident in Russia – through concrete damage to specific facilities. Glory to Ukraine!
