It’s official! Tesla Australia has just announced FSD subscriptions are now available for HW4 Model 3 & Y for $149 a month ! Very excited for everyone to try it out.. after 30 days it’s hard to go back to driving without it 😂

BREAKING: Tesla has officially announced that FSD (Supervised) is launching in Australia, marking a huge milestone for the company. The rollout will happen in stages. HW4 Model 3s and Model Ys will get it first. Tesla says it is "very close" to being unlocked in customer cars. It will be available for purchase outright as a $10,100 option, or through a subscription model. Tesla hasn't released the subscription price yet.

I can’t tell you how nice it is to get in my HW3 Model Y and have similar self-driving capabilities to my HW4 car. FSD V14 Lite gave new life to my 2021 Model Y, as it will to millions of other HW3 cars. It’s very smooth and comfortable.

I’m really looking forward to these upcoming Tesla FSD updates: • FSD V14 “Lite” for HW3 owners: Can’t wait to try it, even as a daily HW4 user. It’s expected to release at the end of this month and include the same features as HW4 V14. • Pothole Avoidance: This will be very welcome, especially for Teslas with lower-profile tires. It will be a game changer for me. • FSD Remembering Your Parking Preferences: Elon Musk says future FSD releases will remember your parking preferences when arriving at a destination. Great for garages, work spots, etc. • Grok Voice Commands for FSD: Elon Musk says the ability to prompt FSD with language is coming within ~3 months. Once you use Tesla FSD it’s kinda hard to go back to regular driving. You just sit down, tap start, and the whole “drive there” part stops feeling like your job traffic still exists but it doesn’t really bother you the same way anymore You’re just along for the ride going back to manual driving feels like “wait… I have to do all this again?”

My 2025 Model 3 has autonomously chauffeured me without any help for now over a whole month! 0 disengagements of any kind including parking. As an early access FSD tester since 2022, I’ve had the honor to test Tesla’s v14 Lite for HW3 over the past 2 days. Overall, my experience has been very positive. It’s a refreshing experience to have the car move in reverse and take off immediately from parking spots. The destination parking options are really great to explore, and I love the quick reaction times. It’s hard to believe that my 2019 Model 3 is still getting software updates that are allowing it to do brand new things. Completely unheard of in the automotive business. Tesla has now blocked the FSD hack completely in Europe so no one has access anymore. I think they did the right thing. It was an incredible experience. I wasn’t trying to cause any trouble for Tesla or anything like that I was just super excited about the technology I’ve been waiting for forever. I really needed to try it myself. I know some people will probably get mad or say it was dangerous, but honestly, since I’ve gone back to fully manual driving, I feel noticeably less safe on the road. It’s truly exceptional technology. Disclaimer: This hack has now been blocked everywhere in Europe, so these videos are from before the block it’s no longer possible or legal at all.

Good morning Tesla fans, It’s amazing to wake up and have your car take you to work with FSD. A 64 km drive without touching the steering wheel once. I’ve been using FSD for a few days now, and honestly, I don’t want anything else anymore. You get used to it very quickly. It drives so well and feels safe. Let’s hope more countries get approval before summer. It would be great to travel across Europe on holiday with FSD 💪 $TSLA

Tesla Self-Driving v14.2.2.4 First Drive I keep typing out and then deleting my words—it’s hard to give a good “review” of FSD when each version feels so similar to the last. That’s not a bad thing. Overall, FSD now handles everything it should, and it has for a while. There are still issues with speed control (I made a separate post about that), no max speed setting, rolling stops aren’t implemented, navigation could use work, etc. With all that said, the car drove me around for an hour tonight with zero interventions. It parked perfectly at every destination, made smart lane choices, and drove really well. Is FSD v14.2.2.4 perfect? No. But it’s incredible how good FSD has become. I’ll do a proper drive tomorrow and give a better review. I just wanted to get something out tonight for those who care. It’s almost 1 a.m., so I’m heading to bed. If there’s anything specific you want me to test tomorrow, let me know and I’ll try it on my drive.

Speed limit is 70. Truck accelerates slowly to 60 and no faster without an accelerator tap. It’s been like this for months across every FSD version. Accelerator taps are constant just to keep it going the speed limit. According to some people, I’m doing it wrong for not being in hurry mode… Tesla AI
