Decisive Strike is an integral concept to Dead by Daylight as a whole, but its main issue is that it's exactly as strong as the people using it. It can't be balanced for the 20,000 hours swf stacking 4 of them and the 100 hours solo player it was designed for. Add diminishing returns on the amount of them in the trial, and 3 seconds for weak killers + 6 seconds for the strongest killers. Do that and you have the perfect anti tunnel perk.

Nowhere to Hide is the clearest example of a crutch perk on the killer side. Survivors have run to yellow, killers have point and click aura adventure. Stealth is such an important intangible part of this game. Nowhere to hide existing in a trial removes that and forces everyone to hold W forever. Holding W is boring, in my opinion! I think this perk's range should be reduced, and it should stop working when a killer movement ability is used.

Iridescent Seal is a corny add on that punishes survivors simply for playing the game normally, similarly to broken survivor perks like Shoulder the Burden or Conviction. This effect is pretty outdated and could be a lot more fun for both sides.

Shoulder The Burden is still by far the biggest problem in DBD specifically at high mmr. I see this perk at least once every 4 or 5 games, and it is game warping every time even if it's not used perfectly. This perk is so stupid in the hands of coordinated, strong teams that old school Bubba facecamping is now an optimal strategy to win tough matches against good players. Total insanity.

The strongest anti-tunneling perk is not DS, not even shoulder the burden. It's Babysitter. Nothing forces a killer to stop tunneling like a survivor running faster than him with no scratch marks. You leave the hook for a nanosecond and this perk ends your entire game against a good team. It should really be either stealth or speed, not both.

Slugging will continue to be necessary (against good survivors) in the current state of the game: I am very open to debate on this, but that relatable killer feeling of playing against perks, not players, it leads to a meta like this. Please watch the entire video before you comment. shoulder the burden, fast track, resurgence, babysitter, deli dh ds, healing builds, sabo (less important), in combination with basekit handholding like 70 second hook stages and 15 second endurance mean that A tier and below killers are now so heavily punished for hooking that coulrophobia slugging is necessary against any good team running the above perks.

Conviction is not an easy perk to use correctly. But when it's used by a good player in the right situation, it is game ending for the killer. The problem with this design is that Conviction is totally silent until it activates, with no signs or plans that the killer can take to prepare for it. When it works, it just happens and you lose, that's it.

Right, this is the perfect example of everything that is wrong with car design at the moment. It takes a second or less to pull the charge flap open after you’ve pressed it in (which you still have to do here), and again to close. This is absolutely fucking pointless, noisy, slow and will likely break. And why?! So lazy fuckers don’t have to pull a plastic flap open? The ONLY thing this does is add unnecessary complexity and weight to an already grossly overweight turd of a car. 😡

With all due respect, 2005-2006 Kobe is the best player I have ever seen (Didn’t see Jordan’s young prime live). The Lakers wasted Kobe’s best years and he still got 2 more RINGS post-Shaq. 35PPG on mostly Jump Shots AND 1ST TEAM ALL DEFENSE. The biggest threat from all 3 levels of the floor of all time. Watch these highlights. All bottoms of the net this is crazy. Kobe was still in his young athletic prime and the game came easy to him. And his skill this year peaked at an all time high which the league has never seen in its history considering his threat from 3Pt range. Just insane offensive production. A machine. You have to be totally locked in to move like this. No one can “decide to do this”. This happens when athletic peak meets all time skill. 80 games -56 times scoring 30+ -27 times scoring 40+ -6 times scoring 50+ -2 times scoring 60+ -8 times with 4 consecutive 30pt games -5 times with 5 consecutive 30pt games -3 times with 8 consecutive 30pt games -7 times with back to back 40+ games *Long video but it should be an hour long this year was MADNESS 🤷🏾‍♂️ Point totals for each month (Thread)

It’s been many years since I played Frontier: Elite II on an Amiga (on a real computer, not an emulator). Ofc I play the emulated version from time to time, but that’s more to have some content on X bcs it’s hard for me to find enough time to get as hooked on it as I used to be. So I find myself reminiscing about the ships I used to fly a lot, and one of them is the Puma Clipper, which I used for trading and which I remember very fondly.

Hyperfocus and Stakeout are one of the most problematic combos in all of dead by daylight, quietly messing with the killer's game sense and causing many experienced players to suspect cheats when none are present. It has a very simple fix too, one that I am confused why we have not seen yet!

At 4am this morning the EU voted to provide a €90 billion aid package to Ukraine. This is a significant step forward to ensure Ukraine is NOT forced to capitulate to an indicted war criminal and a US president who is complicit in attempts to see an ally nation handed to Russia. While I believe that they SHOULD have used Russian frozen assets to fund this loan, that option while left on the table for future use was not used. There is now an opportunity for Europe to really step up and help bring this war to an end to secure a just and lasting peace without Ukraine being extorted by Trump for its energy and rare earth resources. I believe this is the first step in the separation of Europe from the US in terms of the military partnership. The intention now is to invest in European arms manufacturing as the plug is being pulled of the procurement of US military hardware. Coulrophobia was nerfed as a response to high mmr killers refusing to engage in the hooking gameplay loop. I have done this often on killer, and fully acknowledged that it shouldn't be encouraged as a play style. If you can't see how full hard slugging is bad for the game's health, you have us vs them brainrot. But now that slugging perks are being nerfed, we are left in a position where we have to ask - are they going to do anything about the circumstances that are leading killers to slug?
