Yoda asking Anakin to help him escape the Jedi Temple because he knows that Anakin's expertise is "in disobeying The Council" is one of my favorite bits from The Clone Wars. It's a moment that makes Yoda feel just as mischievous as he was when Luke first met him on Dagobah in The Empire Strikes Back. Such an underrated arc of episodes.

It's really awesome how the third season of The Clone Wars gave us a brief glimpse into how the Separatist Parliament actually operated. Even wilder seeing Count Dooku operating as a political leader of the Separatists for once rather than just being an evil Sith Lord.

I really like how, in this moment from The Book Of Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker actually gave Grogu a fair choice as to whether or not he wanted to continue training to be a Jedi or return to Din Djarin. It’s a great progression from the Jedi Order that we see in earlier stories set within the Prequel Era, and really says a lot about how Luke wanted to teach the next generation of Jedi.

Still find it funny that the creative team behind The Clone Wars literally had to make Anakin unconscious in this moment so that their first formal meeting in Revenge of the Sith could still be kept canon. It’s a brief, fun scene, but one that shows a lot of growth for Ahsoka’s character, and how exactly Anakin’s training has ultimately equipped her for survival. Also perfectly foreshadows Anakin saving Obi-Wan from a Buzz Droid attack at the start of Revenge of the Sith. It’s like poetry, it rhymes!

One of the smartest details from the Revenge of the Sith novelisation is how Obi-Wan and Anakin deceive Count Dooku. Knowing they had failed on Geonosis, they open the duel with basic attacks from Ataru and Shien, forms that Dooku’s Makashi easily dismantles. This convinces Dooku that he’s facing the same Jedi he defeated three years earlier. Then they switch. Obi-Wan returns to his impenetrable Soresu, while Anakin unleashes the refined Djem So he mastered during the Clone Wars. Dooku suddenly realizes the opening exchange was a ruse and that Anakin had surpassed power levels he thought were possible.
