Officials present at the ceremony included Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Dzhagaryan, Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation Anura Karunathilaka, Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd.), and Airport and Aviation Chairman Air Chief Marshal Harsha Abeywickrama. The Russian aid package will be distributed to the most affected regions, strengthening ongoing national and international efforts to support recovery and restoration in the aftermath of the cyclone.
