I've been (officially) doing "Developer Experience" work for 4.5 years. But tbh, I've never really talked about the work itself. Last week, I gave my first talk about writing great docs, getting product feedback, and teaching developers.

Loved it! Do you miss being a builder, or is building docs/templates/demos enough to scratch this itch?

I still build quite a bit, so it works well for me!

One day I just woke up with the ability to post and grow my business 3+ years of posting Constant testing/refining Committing to the process It doesn’t happen quick, but once you build out your personal brand the leverage is insane
