After creating Remodex: Codex remote control for iOS I decided to chill a bit by building a browser sidebar inside Theo - t3.gg 's T3 Code You can open it with Cmd+Shift+B This software is so easy to "manipulate" and build upon Congrats to all the guys that put the work in it because it is great I certainly will be building more things with it For this one I decided to switch from the Codex App to the Codex CLI too just to see how it works And boy it was so good

AI Generated videos at 60fps 📺 Yesterday, in the post that I made about Pika’s latest update that added a new `-fps` parameter which allows to set the frames per seconds of the generated video, from 8 to 24, I also talked about a technique that I used to turn them into 60fps videos “effortlessly”. Well, this morning I decided to add a new command to my Discord bot (Magnus) that does just that! You send it your video and the desired frames per seconds (could be 24, 60, 120, …) and it magically does it for you. The most crazy part is, that it’s all done with a 23 years old piece of software! Essentially what it does is generate additional frames between existing frames of the video sequence. This create smoother and more fluid motion by estimating and inserting intermediate frames, reducing choppiness and juddering in the video playback. This technique is called interpolation. In the demo video below I went, on purpose, from 8 fps to 60fps — It's a little bit extreme and I do recommend to go with a smaller bump if you desire a smoother result If you want to take a look by yourself, go to my blog and check out the source code. I'm up late with the rest of you building AI agents with the new AI browser from Genspark. We can see where this is all going: a new kind of operating system -- one that is very different than the Microsoft centric way that I've been working for 20 years. There are several things that these new agentic browsers bring to you: 1. They let you change how you browse. With an old browser like Google Chrome, you go to your email, Facebook, or X. 2. With these new browsers, you tell it where to go and what to do for you. 3. It can even build software for you. At the end of this video, I have it building me a little YouTube uploading utility, which is very helpful. 4. They have a ton of "applications" built in. Think of it as a new kind of office suite. Docs. Spreadsheets. Slide decks. And much more. All built with AI, not bolted on the side like with Microsoft's Office. 5. They have AI models built "underneath" so you can work privately and cheaply. There’s a lot of new choices you have to make with browsers like this. I’ve been playing with a bunch of them. Some have better user interfaces than others. Some have different versions, slide components, or applications. The reason I like Genspark is because they ship so fast. I’ve been watching this company since its very beginnings, and every week they ship new things. Just yesterday, they shipped a new photo editing feature for my iPhone. I upload a photo and then I can just talk to it and edit it with my voice. It's really cool. I try to reward companies that ship at such a fast rate and that are shipping innovation that improves our lives. It's not that I'm going to stop using Google Chrome. My whole life has been there for, I don't know, almost 20 years now. This is a different way of working and it gives me a space to run my AI tasks that's different than Google Chrome. I run them side by side. One doing old stuff, one doing new stuff. I can keep using Google Chrome for my old stuff, like my email and my calendar. And I use GenSpark or one of the new AI browsers to do new AI-centric things. All sorts of new things that these new agentic browsers open up! Have you tried it, or one of the other new ones yet? How has it changed your work? It takes a little time to get used to AI-centric ways of doing things. Pretend your browser is a team of interns. Give them a task, in this case I said "help me upload my videos to YouTube." You might be shocked at what Genspark does to improve your life. I am everytime I use it. I’ve been playing with several new AI companies I found yesterday at the AI/UX event in San Francisco that swyx @aiDotEngineer WF ran. It has a demo area with a bunch of companies. One impressed me after I got home: It makes notes for you. You ramble at it for a few minutes about something you want to build. Tomorrow I have an important meeting to discuss my media business. Or should I surprise everyone with something totally different?” In the end, I decided to take a new path, I want people to listen to my music and think, “Wow, this is unexpected! I have no idea what she'll do next!” If I can make people feel that way, then I think I've done what l set out to do.

Being here on these steps feels spiritual to me. I’ve stared at the Salad Days cover since I learned of Minor Threat when I was 14. I think back to that first mixtape Jared Hein gave me in class sophomore year of highschool. Hearing Minor Threat on that tape for the first time opened a new door I didn’t even know existed. It pulled me into a world that felt raw, honest, and completely alive. The Salad Days cover. Those steps. It resonates with all of us who came up in this scene. It is more than an image. It is a feeling, a moment, a shared memory. This is my second time here. The first was over 20 years ago, and I can’t find that photo anywhere. So I had to take this one for myself. Just to reconnect. To bring myself back to the music and to that version of me that first felt it. Walking up to the Dischord Records house really does feel spiritual and like a time portal to when I was a teenager and all I cared about was going to shows and listening to records with my friends. Sitting on these steps, you can feel the history in a way that is hard to explain. One day I will meet Ian MacKaye. That would be a dream.

The beginning of romance can be a little wild. I have been know to do extremely impractical things to make a relationship work. Like travel across the globe to be with the one I love for just one day.
