I’ve never seen a future bride hate her engagement ring as much as #MeghanMarkle hated hers. I’m not sure if she figured since Harry is a Prince she’d get an egg sized diamond but that’s not done in the Royal Family. It’s really not that much bigger than her...

I believe it doesn't matter the cost, the cut, the diamond. My ring is a silver ring with three hearts that mean something special and I adore my ring and treasure it more than anything in the world.

I agree COMPLETELY. When my husband and I got married, I told him I didn’t want an engagement ring. That wasn’t important to me-being his wife and sharing a life was what mattered. 12 years later we’re still happy and together and there’s more love than I ever dreamed, he did end up getting me a channel set wedding band one year and a few years ago a 3 stone diamond ring, I love them but that wasn’t my priority. I still wear my plain gold band with them.

The irony of the former cable tv actress not being a very good actress at all, unable to even fake appreciating her ring.

She's gritting her teeth through her forced smile, barely able to conceal her disappointment. Bet she wouldn't look that dismayed with a ring like Lauren's. 🤣

Narcissist Fun Fact: They may even find an engagement ring annoying. It’s a symbol of commitment and also of someone else’s choice. Worse, if the ring takes top attention, they resent it. Nothing is ever allowed to outshine their spotlight. Displayed well in this clip. jmo🤷🏻‍♀️🌺🙏🏻

Designed it....a simple look, already done a zillion times. Center stone, 2 smaller stones either side of it. Not very original.

Meghan Markup knew Diana's sapphire was in Harry's possession - but he gave it to William to give to Catherine because he felt the ring should belong to a queen. He was a better person back then. She thrashes him to within an inch of his life for that decision every single day.

“This isn’t just a ring. This is 49.25 carats of pure Colombian emerald fire — GIA-certified, sitting on your pinky like it owns the place. Surrounded by 10 carats of marquise diamonds. Priced at $125,000. And right next to it? A flawless 6-carat cushion diamond going for $118k. The emerald still steals the show. Because emeralds have always been the ultimate flex of power and mystery.” “The emerald cut itself was invented in the 1500s specifically for stones like this. Emeralds are brittle and full of natural inclusions — the famous ‘garden.’ So master cutters created the rectangular step-cut to protect the stone while letting that hypnotic green glow explode with light. That’s why we still call it the emerald cut today. For centuries, the biggest and best emeralds belonged to emperors and conquerors: • Cleopatra raided her own mines for them. • Spanish conquistadors risked everything for Colombian veins. • Mughal emperors had massive emeralds inscribed with prayers and dates. Fast-forward to the modern era and you get legendary stones like the Rockefeller Emerald — an 18-carat Colombian step-cut beauty once owned by one of America’s richest families. It later sold for a record price per carat. This 49.25-carat monster in the pinky ring? It’s bigger than the famous Chalk Emerald (37.8 carats) now sitting in the Smithsonian. It’s wearable royalty. Old-world power, new-world flex.” Close (final 5 seconds – ring spinning, diamonds sparkling): “One of the craziest pinky rings you’ll ever see. Who else is putting this on their ‘one day’ list? Drop a 💎 if you’d rock it. Tag the person who needs this energy.” Fast-forward to the modern era and you get legendary stones like the Rockefeller Emerald — an 18-carat Colombian step-cut beauty once owned by one of America’s richest families. It later sold for a record price per carat. I put a link to a Rockefeller emerald in the first comment …interesting stuff
