This clip pisses me off for more than the mocking of the Queen, which is vile & unforgivable on its own-but #MeghanMarkle spreading the stereotype that all Americans are as uncouth & ignorant as she is and wouldn’t know that curtseying to the QUEEN is expected & a sign of respect to not the person, but the position was a huge miscalculation on her part. I’d wage a bet that most Americans know that you curtsy to a King or Queen and I think Markle knew that too. I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. This woman is being accused of being rude by the worker, to me I think the worker was rude. She’s trying to return something without the packaging and was denied without it. So she went and bought another one and used that packaging to return the old one. She always had the receipt she just didn’t have the package. Either way she’s left with another item she didn’t need or return. I recall when I was at the pizza shop and a customer gave us the wrong address by mistake. She was babysitting and wanted pizza delivered to the customers house instead. I get a call from our driver saying he couldn’t find it, so I call her back and said that the driver couldn’t find the address, it didn’t even exist on gps. She argues with me how the home has been there for over 80 years and that my driver was too stupid to find it. I couldn’t find it on my Apple Maps either and asked her to double check the address. She told us the house number was 869 and it was actually 896. So after that I call my driver and he delivers it. Not even 5 minutes later she calls back complaining her food was cold. I told her it’s cold likely because the driver took a long time trying to find an address that didn’t exist. So once again she gets all belligerent. I refused to remake it or refund it based on her mistake and she claims I just lost a life long customer. Was I wrong for that, would you have remade it? Maybe I would have as a courtesy if she was cool about it but she wasn’t especially since it was her mistake. I usually don’t do anything unless we messed up.

This always waved glaring red flags and was off to me. “It” didn’t become an “issue” in the UK-it was a topic of discussion because she was relatively unknown and was going to be the first woman of color in the immediate Royal Family, and that was celebrated. Since #MeghanMarkle was raised by a white man with white siblings and mostly white friends, dated and married only white men-I don’t think she LIKED being reminded of her ethnicity. I think she resented the discussion even tho it was overall positive. She says she’s “never been treated like a ‘Black woman’” with such disdain and contempt. They’re really trying to counter the reports that Poh and #MeghanMarkle didn’t get along, but you can see undercurrents of it. I think that Poh was probably a little too extra for the Douchess-she doesn’t like to compete for attention and Poh demands it. She’s outgoing, expressive, a little hyper and loud, and I just don’t think Markle vibed with that. Markle is terrible at hiding her feelings and controlling her expressions but I think that’s intentional. She wants people to know she’s unhappy, unimpressed, or doesn’t like them. I know y’all remember the famous photo of #MeghanMarkle at an engagement putting her hand up to her mouth, playing coy and trying to mimic her dead future mother in law? So much grace for the royals of no mixed heritage. Fergie retained her title while she was not even married to the blood Prince she got it off and whom she was divorced from due to her own adultery. She did endorsements, adverts, her own tell all book which was critical of the monarchy and as Carole Malone said, she used her title and sold herself around to make an income. Interesting that there is no whinging from royalist commentators including Carole about her still having a title or criticism of her trying to make a living in the way she did. In fact they credit her for this.

The woman recording went to this store to shop, when she got close to the register she was confronted by one of the workers who saw she has keloids on her skin and confused it with monkeypox. The worker then refused her service and told her she had to leave. The woman was upset and explained to her that no she doesn’t have monkeypox it’s just keloids. The worker acknowledges she made a mistake and apologizes, however she still is refusing to serve her and asks her to leave, she even calls a manager who tells her to call security. It’s understandable if she thought she had a contagious disease but once that was cleared up shouldn’t she had just rang her up and let her go on with her day?
