I’ve coached plenty of folks on lifting technique and from my experience, this is one I honestly think you need to be able to flare your lats for it to be effective. If you don’t know how to flare your lats, it’s critical for lat growth. Practice it.

Lat Pulldown, keep reps under control. Self critique, my form is not that good here. To hit the lats better, my hands should be closer together, and elbows traveling from high to my hip staying close to the body . My form here will hit more rhomboid. Stay Stronk!! #strengthtraining #gaybear

Pull-Ups vs. Lat Pull-Down: For muscle growth in the Lats, give me a well-built Lat Pull-Down over a Pull-Up Bar any day of the week There are 2 key reasons for this: 1) Greater stability….obviously this has become a bit of a meme but it does matter for hypertrophy 2) The Lat Pull-Down setup will afford you the ability to manipulate body position to better bias the Lats FWIW, I don’t think the gap in terms of effect size/outcome is all that large here but I do think it exists

👤 things you do when things are hard. things that make you happy. 🐈In my case I think when I'm stressed or having a hard time I don't try to force myself to be happy. I think I need to be able to look at my situation objectively in order to overcome it. So I actually try to accept it. When I'm stressed I listen to more calm and deep music. I don't think I'll get any brighter even if I try to force myself to listen to bright music. So, I accept the current situation and because the stress is caused by something not going my way I have to solve it for the stress to be relieved. I think I try to find a solution like that. 👤So, you don't avoid it and face it head-on. 🐈Yes, if I avoid it, I think I'll just get stressed again in the end. jungwon🫳🏻😭😭😭

Alex Eala: At the end of the day, I think there's still definitely a gap in terms of level between me and Coco and other players of her caliber. I think she did great and my job is to try and close that gap and I think I'm doing that quite well. So I'll keep working on it.

Putting your shoulders forward moves your hips back - think of EVERY movement you do in the weight room to become stronger… cleans, squats, box-jumps, deadlifts etc. THEY. ALL. MIMIC. THIS. MOTION. Pay attention to your grip. That’s where your lat engagement starts. I always tell people, don’t over-grip the bar. Use more of your fingers, not your full palm.
