JUST IN: Jack Smith In Danger of Criminal Charges for Alleged Perjury “So, on Jack Smith, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley… unearthed clear evidence that Jack Smith testified to Congress that he did not look at the substance of these phone calls or text messages. He said he just got the toll records for members of Congress, which he didn't notify them about, which is a violation of the law. But he got their toll records, which show when they made the calls and the duration of the calls. But apparently, they said they didn't listen to the calls or read the text messages. We just found out from Chairman Chuck Grassley, working with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel, that yes, in fact, Jack Smith did read the substance of the communications, the text messages, of members of Congress, 44 of them, including 20 U.S. senators and 24 members of the House, including the House leadership, like the House Speaker and the House Majority Leader. This has to be prosecuted. This is a pretty clear case of providing false statements to Congress under USC Section 1001 at a minimum. More likely, it's perjury because he was under oath.” Mike Davis of the Article 3 project hammered former Special Counsel Jack Smith over evidence he committed perjury before Congress. House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan revealed on "Hannity" that Jack Smith could face a congressional referral, arguing new evidence raises serious questions about whether he lied under oath and abused his investigative powers.
