How Japan created a "Toyota Solution" for their railgun technology. They spent $70 million USD and 9 1/2 years to successfully develop the technology. The United States Navy spent approximately $500 million over more than a decade (from roughly 2005 to 2021) on the research and development of the Electromagnetic Railgun (EMRG) program, which ultimately failed.

How Japan created a "Toyota Solution" for their railgun technology. They spent $70 million USD and 9 1/2 years to successfully develop the technology.
