Gulf states are already wealthy, and have resources unmatched in the Middle east plus their National investment portfolio is one of the biggest in the world. The main problem for them to join is Justice to Palestinians, implementation of all UN resolutions, and establishing a Palestinian state with east Jerusalem as its capital. This path will only lead to a lasting peace and prosperity.
The Abraham Accords aren’t being presented as peace here, they’re being sold like a transactional investment scheme. The idea that Gulf states are just waiting for ''economic packages'' from the US and Israel is insulting. It completely ignores the one nation that is always excluded, Palestine. Normalization that bypasses Palestinian rights isn’t acceptable. It’s an attempt to sidestep the core issue of Palestine peace , with financial packages, and it treats the region like it can be managed with chequebooks instead of justice.
