First look at the new Deadlock hero - Rem! An accidental stowaway from the world of dreams, now stranded in the City That Never Sleeps and seeking a way home. Throw a pillow to inflict spirit damage, deal heavy knockback, and reduce the cooldown time on other abilities. Send one of your minions to gather resources, do Sinner's Sacrifices, or follow your teammates to grant spirit resistance, movement speed, healing, and shielding to troopers. More than 600,000 Louisianans voted against it. Then he claimed Don Lemon led protesters into a church. Don was there as a reporter covering a protest. Those aren’t the same thing. People can disagree on politics, but facts still matter. Louisiana voters sent a message Saturday. They rejected Jeff’s constitutional amendments for a second straight year. Jeff is now 0-9 on ballot measures sent to voters. That’s a hell of a record for somebody who talks like they can’t lose. And now he’s back on his bullsh*t. Republicans in the legislature should look at the election results and ask themselves if they want to pivot or sink with Jeff. Your choice. This is probably the best summary of Wolverine gameplay and story from the previews I've seen yet. Sounds great! 🔥 Also deeper than I think some realise. Relevant details and an edited video going over them. + Rage meter with 3 or more levels + Builds with combos and specific moves + As Logan's animalistic aggression builds, new combos, moves and finishers become available + Final rage level offers heightened combat and an extra life + Enemies are aware of and react to Logans increasing rage, and can become too scared to fight + Was more challenging for some journos than they expected. Can't just go in button mashing, must be strategic with enemy attack parries, dodges, which enemies to prioritise etc. + Can unlock techniques and abilities over time, that not only tie in to rage, but have strategic combat benefits + Early examples include a healing heavy attack to staggered enemies, a jumping knee that interrupts enemy attacks, AOE for crowd control etc + It's not one giant skill tree, you swap techniques and abilities in and out for specific use case builds, based on what suits the combat scenario or boss you're facing + Adaptations allow you to modify the systems and techniques Logan has + 3 progression layers work together. Rage for skill based reward, techniques for new moves and abilities, adaptations that change how his moves and systems behave + Some enemies and segments have ability inhibitors, which prevent Logan from certain abilities, such as healing, which makes parry and dodge much more important and the difficulty higher + Game features slower exploration segments where you can freely explore and unlock unique dialogue, interactions, challenges, rewards, collectibles, listen in on convos, find hidden things etc + His heightened senses, hearing, smell etc are used during these exploration segments + Nightmare Trials (replayable challenges) offer different types of gameplay challenges; traversal, combat etc. Beating them offers rewards and can unlock new memories for story tie in + You have different outfits and different claws + Gameplay segments integrate other characters. In one, Mystique infiltrates enemy lines to help Logan Keep in mind this is mostly from early in the game, so who knows what we'll unlock or how things will develop late game. Dragon Age: Veilguard | High-Level Combat Overview Gameplay Full 10 Minute Video▶️ ▪️Warrior revolves around close range combat and defense ▪️The abilities you bring into battle is a strategic choice for each encounter, can be swapped out anytime outside of combat ▪️There are also three equippable Runes, these provide "a variety of control, utility, or additional damage to synergize with your build" ▪️Each class unique customizable abilities, for example warriors have certain abilities that deal fire damage ▪️There are then "Specializations" unique to each class that provide further abilities, including Ultimates ▪️Example: A Warrior specializing as a Grey Warden Champion will gain access to the devastating incendiary Warden’s Fire that launches a flurry of searing strikes that ignite foes like tinder ▪️Combat foundation: Each class has 4 core moves (jump, dodge, light attack, heavy attack) which can be chained together ▪️You can dodge mid-attack, light attacks do light damage and add small amounts of stagger, heavy attacks do more damage and build more stagger ▪️Enemies are more vulnerable fully staggered, Rook can perform takedown attacks ▪️Light and heavy attacks can be held down to deliver more potent versions, ex: a heavy attack can be charged while using a staff to unleash a magical wave of destructive energy ▪️Attacks can also be triggered while sprinting and/or jumping to add depth and fluidity to combat ▪️Each class has ranged attacks, blocks, and two distinct weapon sets that can be swapped seamlessly in battle ▪️Heavy attacks remove armor barriers faster, ranged attacks remove shield barriers faster ▪️You can pause with the ability wheel for more precise control, assign companions to attack specific enemies individually or together ▪️You can bound shortcut keys/buttons for abilities ▪️Different enemy types are weaker vs certain elements (darkspawn are weak to fire damage for example) ▪️You can apply buffs and debuffs (Davrin's "Heroic Strike" ability applies the "Overwhelmed" debuff to enemies which increases stagger) ▪️Area of Effect attacks are also necessary to defeat large groups of enemies, buffs/debuffs are important for crowd control ▪️Abilities require class resources to able to use (Mana, Momentum and Rage). You build these up by dealing damage as well as a secondary way (warriors by taking/dealing damage, rogues by dodging/parrying successfully, mages regain Mana passively over time) ▪️Sword and Shield warriors have access to the Shield Throw Volley: By landing a Heavy Attack on a Shield Throw return, the shield will ricochet, taking out multiple enemies. This sequence can repeat up to three times, causing a "devastating ring of damage around Rook" ▪️Warriors also have the Grappling Spear which can pull enemies closer (helps to dispatch specific enemies on higher difficulties) ▪️You coordinate specific attacks/abilities are primers to "prime" enemies and detonators to "detonate" for extra damage ▪️Ultimates are the most powerful abilities. This animation encapsulates why slow moving storms like #Melissa are so dangerous for mountainous islands like #Hispaniola (#Haiti & #DR) If NHC is correct this will move ~3 mph or slower. But even if the storm moves a little faster, especially if this storm ends up being a near/direct hit to Hispaniola, the collision between the tropical moisture and the mountains can be disastrous. This is our Hi-Res GRAF model. It shows a direct hit, but a faster moving storm. In just 72 hours it shows totals over 3 feet. Imagine if it moves even slower! Either way water cascades from the higher terrain downward into the valley villages, causing massive floods and mudslides. First look at the new Deadlock hero - Silver! Liliah Silver is a mess. She drinks too much, she smokes too much, and the less is said about her personal life the better. But despite Silver's flaws she has managed to carve out a career as successful bounty hunter, and while she would like to think that her successes are solely because she has incredible intuition, the fact that she's a werewolf doesn't hurt. 1️⃣ Slam Fire - Instantly reload your gun.
